I can't imagine what it would be like to live far away from the ocean. I can see the water from where I'm sitting at work, and if I cross the road from where I live. This new house is only 2 blocks from the ocean's edge. The furthest I've lived from the sea is Rotorua, which is about a 50 minute drive to the beach. But it's surrounded by lakes which are also beautiful.
The coolest thing about where I'm currently living is I can drive 15 mins east to get to the beach, or 1hr west to get to the ski field![]()
Hah nah definitely not year round.All year round? If so those are some freaky elevation changes! The same is true here Ski slopes about 15-20mins away and nice beaches about 10mins.
