<< If your still considering the video or cpu upgrade, I'd go for the video. It'll cost a little more, but you'll see a bigger improvement. I saw a larger improvement overclocking my ASUS GForce 256 SDR than I did going from a TBird@900MHz to a TBird@1200MHz. The biggest improvement per clock cycle was in adjusting the GForce memory. >>



Going from 900 to 1.2ghz is a totally different story than going from 566 to 1ghz . He won't see much improvement with a faster video card b/c of his cpu clock. Besides, a geforce sdr is still plenty fast for most games.
 
I went ahead and ordered the Abit KT7A, Duron 750, and Volcano II from NewEgg.com and it was ~$140 shipped. So I'm looking to sell the Abit BX6r2, Celeron II 566MHZ (retail, 3yr warranty), and Abit Slocket !!!. If you're interested PM me or email me.
