I saw a larger improvement overclocking my ASUS GForce 256 SDR than I did going from a TBird@900MHz to a TBird@1200MHz. The biggest improvement per clock cycle was in adjusting the GForce memory. >>
Going from 900 to 1.2ghz is a totally different story than going from 566 to 1ghz . He won't see much improvement with a faster video card b/c of his cpu clock. Besides, a geforce sdr is still plenty fast for most games.
