Bottled water is a waste.

bottled water is perfect when I'm on the road and I don't have my tap water handy.

Filtered Tap is OK. Or one with a water softener.

wrong.

Where i live the tap water is nasty and unsafe. They have been sued a couple times to get it clean but keep putting it off. I would rather spend the $.60 for a gallon then drink the stuff that comes out of the tap.

I'm sure you won't be saying the same thing when you're spending your vacation in Cancun sharding your brains out in the toilet instead of out partying with everybody else... because you decided to drink the tap water at breakfast instead of ordering a bottle.

Yup. I had a recent letter from the Water dept that our water was hazardous and should not be drinken.

Needless to say, we started giving our cat bottled water as well.

I'll pick up a bottle of it now and then and just keep filling it up from a filter at home. I have a couple in the fridge all filled up so they are nice and cold when I want water :)

Normal tap water is way too full of chlorine and flouride, both chemicals that are harmful and toxic to your body. Yes, the FDA disagrees with me... the FDA also has stated that the only thing that can cure any disease are man-made drugs that you must purchase through an M.D. Think about that.

usually, yes, a waste. However, people that live out in the boonies (my grandparents) that have wells that taste like iron water (horrible tasting), really do benefit from bottled water. Though usually they just buy the gallon jugs for a buck a piece, or sometimes if there's room in the trunk, when Family visits, we bring "chicago water" from the tap.

Of course it does, because you've been raised in an environment (brainwashed) to believe that anyone that speaks out against government agencies is automatically 'off' in the head.

Honestly, healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry is the biggest scam in the history of the world. It's impressive.

Buying a $1.29 bottle of Evian three times a day every day is a waste. The concept of drinking bottled water is fine. Personally I refill my Dasani bottle about 30 times before I buy a new one.

On a related note, homosexuality is strictly a choice, there is no genetic disposition to being homosexual.
