The tap water here gives me the nastiest gas I've ever experienced and causes some serious runs. I think it's related to the fact that I've been in Japan for three years and not used to the little microbes here in this water. Not sure, but I have to drink bottled water at this point.

Seriously, it's BAAAAADDD.

I heard that too. The arguement was that tap is regulated by the FDA and bottled is regulated by the EPA.

Anyway I drink Filtered water. Distilled or purified through reverse osmosis (I've had a hard time finding distilled water these past few years though). Spring water is a scam though. Depending on where you live, your tap water is most likely from a spring, mountain run off, or a ground water source which is basically the same as bottled spring water.

However I know that my local water comes from a reservoir. I speculate that standing water is less safe to drink.

My tap water is disgusting. Very bitter. The Brita pitcher only helps a little.

You're paying for the convenience of the water in the bottle because we all know everyone throws their bottles away instead of keeping it and refilling.

watch "dr. strangelove" and report back to us if you're still a paranoid delusional after being made fun of for 1.5 hours.

i think that movie coined the phrase "precious bodily fluids." :D
