It's the cycle of back pedaling and damage control that feeds the perception of her as dishonest. The Republicans attempted similar smear campaigns against Obama with the Kenyan Commmunist birther nonsense, but he was able to deflect it. Yet Kerry and Gore both fell to it, and Clinton has yet to rise above it.

It's the constant smears & innuendo, the ceaseless spreading of FUD like your own that feeds it, along with the beating of dead horses as if they were still alive. All this "concern" for Clinton's health is just a new platform for the venting of the same old bullshit.

You do realize that sometimes people form an opinion independent of the propoganda machine.

But thank you, I've added "concern" and "FUD" to my bingo card.

The point of this accusation propaganda is to get people talking & thinking about the issue, and throw some arbitrary statements of fact out there so said people can form "independent opinions". It's evidently pretty effective.

Do you ever wonder why there is so much damage control around the most mundane of issues, this entire discussion thread being a perfect example.

lol, damage control of mundane issues? Holy shit you toolbags are delusional:

--toolbag creates mundane issue
--toolbag repeats mundane issue with fabricated, assumptive evidence. now, "people are saying!"
--toolbag supports mundane issue with continued rehashing of the same fabricated pieces of "evidence" and speculation
--toolbag reacts to counter arguments that address the absurdity of this created issue by labeling those criticisms as "panicked damage control over mundane issue."

Holy shit. You guys need to pause, turn around, and take a gander at where this path you're on actually started.

You clearly prefer your own flavor of the propaganda machine. Obviously, you don't see it.

Always fun to continue to watch the usual suspects displaying their disingenuous low information stupidity here. Pathetic...

I didn't really see it before, but recently read an article about how Hillary has responded to criticism & speculation made them worse, sort of like how Apple was so closed mouthed for so long, it just invites speculation. I really wouldn't care, but, it costs tax dollars to investigate this stuff when it reaches a certain level, and we've spent what 80 million on special prosecutors, etc. kind of feel bad for Ken Starr, he would have likely been a USSC nominee if he hadn't gotten all screwed up with the special prosecutor's gig.

I don't think 80 million dollars spent to prove perjury about sex was wisely spent, and that's on the Republicans, but the fact that they "had" to do it is on the Clintons for not being more transparent. The height of idiocy was spending millions of dollars to hear Bill try to define "is" during a deposition.

We've spent plenty more on Fast & Furious, the IRS "scandal", Ben-fucking-ghazi, Planned Parenthood & this email thing. Hell, Repubs are making noise about opening a Congressional investigation of Birtherism.

Hell, maybe they'll show their "concern" by investigating Hillary's health.

I suppose it isn't if you're not aware of it. It's how modern propaganda is done per Lippmann/Bernays & successors.
Does this qualify as propaganda: http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/06/health/cough-cold-explainer/index.html
I don't see this as propaganda. I see this as unfavorable coverage that documents the factual occurrence of something happening. If anything, there is a Bagdad Bob quality to some of you acting as if the media made up her latest coughing spell.

Per bernays, some doctor(s) who think a product might be good is nothing special, but in the employment of a broader narrative to convince consumers it has focused significance. In this case, someone coughing is nothing extraordinary, but not as part of a professional campaign to convince voters of something. Notice that per your article, the field is forced to address an otherwise minor at best issue. Is the the product really worthy of endorsement? who really cares when everyone's talking about it. These are the tools of modern society, including its politics.

Of course. It's all in the attitude, right? All in the "What is she hiding?" point of view which you promote thru thick & thin.

These are not issues which exist in a vacuum. Explaining what coughing is misses the point, we continuously see more and more indicators of deeper health problems which are not covered until the press has its hands forced by alternative media.

The press has been unskeptically accepting her excuse of allergies when the pollen level was low

instead of demanding her health records, they've been posting excuse articles.

and of course the newest speculation is that she needs to drink thickened water, which fits the requirements of a parkinson sufferer.

It's always possible that someone is hiding something, but likewise always unlikely that the dumbest segment of the population are the ones to crack the case. The frequent complaining about experts or edumacation in general does them no favors here.

Since you are implying everything is a 9/11 conspiracy....I'm not a truther by any stretch
But the official story is hardly the final word on the truth.
The Saudi's were involved in 9/11
http://nypost.com/2016/04/17/how-us-covered-up-saudi-role-in-911/

And remember the man vilified during Bill Clinton's reign? He was quietly vindicated, too late, no one cares, but that's how it goes.
https://qcurtius.com/2016/08/09/wrongly-accused-the-absolution-of-slobodan-milosevic/
"In a judgment issued on March 24, 2016, the ICTY concluded that Slobodan Milosevic was not responsible for war crimes committed during the 1992-95 Bosnian war"
he died 10 years ago.

Again, I'm not proclaiming that all official accounts are always right or such, only that poorly researched claims are not even wrong. For example, take a moment or a while to ponder all of the similar accusations you've parroted in the past, and take some account of the portion that have turned out. I wouldn't expect that portion to be very big, but probably > 0 since accidents happen, so it's worth doing some root cause analysis into why it's so diminutive. At the very least consider if there's anything different about this one that merits more attention than the last dozen accusations which were rightly ignored, like for example your sources bothered to consult a relevant medical professional/expertise instead of what they usually do in these cases.

Actually medical experts have, linked pages ago, but few will come forward because of the consequences we've already seen with Dr Drew who did nothing more than raise questions about her treatment, never mind the reporter at Huffington Post who was not only fired, but had all his work erased from the site.

To flip it, very few medical experts are putting their name on the line to certify her "official story".

People under the threat of the clintons and their cronies tend to simply keep quiet.

People would probably take these claims more seriously if they weren't mixed in these posts with the illuminati or the klan. At least in the case of Dr. Drew, he cited a wrong breitbart report about clinton before, and his speculation here was also rather biased & wrong in the same fashion as discussed by specialists. In the real world, repeated mistakes by a medical doctor proclaiming to act in that capacity have consequences.
