People process chaos through various methodologies and for some it is simply easiest for them to assign blame to the authority. Probably a great relationship with dad behind a lot of it.

Or a good understanding of mankind's history... But America is different right? We could never sink down to that level, because we're America. We are the greatest nation on earth because of our democratic-republic, limited government, and constitutionally protected freedo- Oh wait. All that has been taken or is being taken away by the government. So why are we great again? Or are we the next modern Rome?

This is a common technique used by bombers of all creeds and colors, you malignant puss pocket. For example, Eric Rudolph used nails as shrapnel when he bombed Centennial Park, and he's anything but a radical Islamist.

It's great that you sign your posts, but I think everyone here is already painfully aware you are an epic idiot. It's shameful that most self-professed "conservatives" here won't break ranks and slap you down too, because you have become one of their most defining voices. You make all righties look stupid. Very, VERY stupid.

What utter hypocrisy. If a Muslim does it then it doesn't represent all Muslims but if one Conservative says something then you want to stereotype them all. You are an idiot.

I guessing this is part of the promised war from American extremist groups if Obama were to be re elected. Fueled by right wing talk radio.
And the fat bastards know who they are...
No surprisingly directly connected to the killing of government officials of late.
No, this won't be some dark skinned foreigner from the middle east with a backpack, this will end up a white guy, shaved head, tattooed, white supremacist very well organized and very well armed.
For them, we are now the enemy.

Thanks for showing us you're an idiot.

What utter hypocrisy. If a Muslim does it then it doesn't represent all Muslims but if one Conservative says something then you want to stereotype them all. You are an idiot.
Let's summarize:

1. You concede (by default) that contrary to your flaming bigotry, shrapnel bombing is NOT a tactic mostly limited to Muslims.

2. You concede you are a malignant puss pocket.

3. You concede you are an epic idiot.

4. You take issue with me assuming other purported conservatives are also wrong-headed, bigoted, malignant puss pockets of stupidity.

Good, since we agree on the first three points, let me help with the fourth. I do not assume at all that all conservatives are so damaged as you. On the contrary, I recently stated in another thread that such defectives, though prominent here, are not representative of the broad conservative base at all. Unfortunately, many people are not so perceptive. They see you drowning thread after thread in bigoted, ignorant noise and assume you speak for all conservatives. That is neither fair nor accurate. There are many intelligent, well-reasoned conservatives. Just not you.

So, rest assured that we are on the same side on this issue. I also want to spread the word that not all conservatives are as useless as you. You are you own special little cesspool of stupid.

I don't know about you but if there is a report about something like this I would want to know. Wouldn't you?

I guess it depends on how many bullshit false alarms and bullshit reports they typically get. If there are an average of 25 potential threats to the Superbowl every year what good would it do? We would just get numb to the reports since 99.999% of the time nothing happens. If they had something that was actually credible and failed to act or warn, thats a different discussion.

The shrapnel doesn't indicate Islamic extremism but the target and the serial blasts do. Go take a look at any of the recent bombings.

Again, domestic terrorists target government stuff for most part. Islamic terrorists delight in the savage murder and butchery of as many innocent people as they can.

Yesterday was very unsettling for a lot us here in Boston. After the bombings, there were sirens throughout the city from like 3 - 5. All the various information/misinformation of secondary bombs had a lot of people even more so on edge esp. during the evening commute. On top of that, maybe because of the heavy load or an intentional shutdown to prevent remote detonators, it was very difficult to reach friends and families by phone.

A friend of mine went to watch her friend finish the race. Took a picture at the flags where the explosion happened at around 2pm. Fortunate for her she went to get a drink at a bar near there in hopes of coming back at 3. She was recounting how both explosions rocked the building she was in, the 2nd one knocking down empty chairs in the restaurant. She told me she literally cried all the way home.

People died and a lot of people were seriously injured. It's unfortunate that all this nonsense is going on in this thread.

NO no no. You have it all wrong. The government is always up front with its people. Honest politicians are the reason we have this great society dontchaknow?

What do you want the authorities to do?

Should they cancel an event that brings in millions of dollars of economic activity to a city? If they did that, then the bombers would not have set off their bombs, and because there was no bomb explosion, hence no evidence of a bomb, you would have blamed the government for controlling us, preventing the people of Boston from living their normal lives that day.

To someone like you, is there any way the authorities could have done the right thing in a way that you acknowledge they did the right thing?

I already have been, I'm apparently a idiot and an Islamophobe for pointing out the similarities and commenting on the barbarism and savagery of Islamic terror acts. My crime was to point out how in their frequency and target selection there are no lines of decency they won't cross.

This is typical of them and don't let them try to shut you down. You must speak the truth. I know what the radical Islamists are capable of and maiming people with ball bearings/shrapnel is definitely their work.

I think the prejudice is unhelpful.

There are simply inhuman among us. Trying to peg one group as somehow MORE awful isn't really constructive.

This is so much like the 1996 Atlanta bombing that I think it's most likely a militia type mad about gun control legislation.

You are a moron. I have stated that it's possible it could be a white guy and I also said that these type of bombs with shrapnel are more associated with radical Islamists. I was attacking the PC/leftists.

But hey keep acting like a tough guy behind your computer.

1996 Atlanta bombing. Lots of shrapnel there.
