Seriously, I just cringe everytime I hear it. I wonder if people from Boston realize how stupid they sound.

The Minnesota accent is quite atrocious, and I'm part Swedish myself... but it's horrible.

I wish the entire New England would somehow break away from the US and drift off into the Atlantic. And take the Pats, Red Sox and Celts with em!

I actually couldn't watch the movie Fargo because that accent is so f***ing awful. I walked out. Fortunately, I was watching it at a friend's house, so I was only out my ~15 mins of time.

What would you all say is the best accent? I think for men it's Australian, and for women it's British.

For women and for men it's English.
There is no British accent, that is English, that is how it's spoken. You don't speak English just like your football players don't play football, you speak American English and your football players (dressed up like prom queens with extra pudding on their shoulders for the rugby match) play American football.
Australian is fun for half a movie before you just want the chump to ah heck off and start speaking like he usually does, pretty much all aussie speakers in the movies don't speak that way otherwise, they do that for the Americans amusement.

I love southern accents of Americanese and while Boston is better than Wisconsin New Yawkers are the worst of the pack.
Don't call that shit English because it isn't.

Some English accents are okay... RP is sort of grating. There's a more generic London accent that is pretty nice sounding, but Cockney is 'orrible... I personally like Scottish accents quite a bit. Don't care too much for Irish, but I can deal with it. Australian accents are sort of tedious after a while, and New Zealander accents doubly so. Of course, the greatest accent of English in the known world is Standard American...

Funny, Boston and New Yorker accents were attempts to imitate English accents, hence not pronouncing their Rs properly. Wawtuh (water) in New York, cah (car) in Boston, and even Uh-meh-ih-kuh (America) in some old fashioned Southern accents.
