I've been musing on the Mechromancer talents for a bit, and I'd like to get some input.
1) I put one point into Death from Above, and it's just awful. I haven't really been able to check the damage value yet, but it just doesn't seem worth it. It's really not that common to have a large amount of guys grouped up, which means you're only getting 2-3 extra hits for losing 1-5 stacks of Anarchy. What really makes this talent bad is how buggy it is or rather how poor the implementation is. I've had it trigger when an enemy punched me and did a slight knock back. I've had it trigger during the crouching animation. I've had it trigger going down inclines.
2) I think I'm going to remove some points from the Anarchy talent. I'm not sure what anyone else's experience has been so far, but 400 stacks of Anarchy is just pure hell. The damage is phenomenal, but you cannot hit anything. I was in Crisis Core: Angel yesterday, and to hit the laser turrets with an assault rifle with a 96% base accuracy, I had to stand directly underneath them. Anywhere else and I could not hit them before they killed me. It takes me minutes to kill Surveyors, because I just constantly miss them. I'm also losing ridiculous amounts of health, because enemies deal so much damage while I'm forced to pretty much stand directly in front of them just to hit them. I've shot at enemies that weren't even very far away, emptied an entire magazine, and I didn't even hit them once.
Yeah... I think I'm going to drop down to a 300 maximum stack size. Anarchy is fun... makes the game crazy-hectic, but it's just too ludicrous at those levels. Although, BNK-3R was a joke because he's so darned big and just sits there. Although, just like Bloodwing, he can't be killed until he enters his second "big laser" phase. It sat at 1% health for a bit.
