Book of Mormon

Anyone see the show? I took my ball and chain to see it a couple weeks ago. Hilarious stuff. Jesus voiced over in Stone/Parker's voices completely made the show for me. I REALLY wish I bought more tickets, I'm pretty sure I could've been fellated in public in exchange for tickets. Thank gosh I bought them back in May.

It's also funnier because I went to Africa this summer on a mission trip, in the initial Africa scene where you see their town/huts I just laughed and go, "It's so true!"

I hope you saw the south park episode dealing with this and got the reward.

Heh, pretty funny episode. I saw Samuel L. Jackson coming out of his MLK show, that was reward enough.

I saw a black guy with the funny hat on as I walk by. I stop and turn to my GF, "uhhh was that Samuel L. Jackson?" She says no as I turn the other way and see a giant poster with his face on it advertising the show. I wanted to ask him to swear at me, but I didn't 🙁

I tried to buy tix this past weekened....

they were $175 a piece BEFORE FEES directly from TM.

Saw it towards the end of 2012. Was fantastic. Only got tickets via the season pass thing.. but it was worth it. Enjoyed the other shows we saw and renewed this past season again.

I saw it back at the beginning of january with my gf of the time. I thought it was the funniest thing I may have ever seen. There were a few things I thought were a little ridiculous and over the top for even me, but on the whole, fantastic.

I think we paid about 175+fees for each ticket. Saw it in SF at the Orpheum.

Saw it at the Belk Theater in Charlotte in the beginning of Jan. Good, but not OUTSTANDING. But still pretty good.

Only cost me $150 for two tickets. Was worth the purchase.

Saw it in SF in 2012 -

Absolutely hilarious.

I've worked with too many Mormon's so I found the whole Mormon Mission personality of nothing offensive really genius.

hasa diga eebowa!

FYI Los Angeles:

Lots of great tickets currently available for the last month of shows @Pantages. Get em now at face value.

I was able to pick up front row mezzanine tickets for a Thursday night @ $90 each after fees. The seat 5 feet away from mine to the left? $240.

I have tickets for the show when it comes to the Segrestrom Center in Orange county later this year. I can't wait.

On a side note, I remember not having cable and I had never seen an episode of South Park. A friend had me go with him to see the South Park movie. I never laughed so hard during a movie in my entire life. I think I hurt myself when Cartman told his teacher to suck his balls!

I hear the commercial all the time but i dont remember it now. The book of mormon is so funny it makes you want to......

watched it last night, awesome. you can definitely tell it was done by the south park guys.

the play was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more vulgar than I expected. Not sure how much uber conservatives would like this one.

favorite parts:
- heavy metal lucifer
- cartman jesus

it's on my list of shows I'd love to see, but I can't justify paying the price for decent seats when I can get prime orchasta/mezz discounted tickets for most other shows for like $70-$90

got 2 front/center mezz tickets to A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder this weekend for $89  most-nominated Tony musical of the year.
