Just finished Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Now I need another book. I'll read the first book mentioned.

Have enjoyed works by Peter Watts, Harry Harrison, Stephen King among others.

Anything delving deep into human nature, 'realistic/detailed' scifi or zombies is fine.

Thinkig about reading the Stainless Steel Rat series. :hmm:

The entire Dune series. It is not only sci-fi, but entirely about human nature. Should be enough books to keep you busy for a while.

I'm about to finish Zeitoun by Dave Eggers; pretty good little book, but one I would recommend to people here.

You might also like L. E. Modesitt Jr.'s Adiamante for serious SF. For lighter space opera, David Drake's Lt. Leary series is good and the first 3 are free legal eBooks at baen.com (#1 is With the Lightnings).

Done! Never actually read a Tom Clancy novel before. I've seen some movies and played many games of course. This should be interesting. :thumbsup:

I can beat that, I just started the ninth book of the series Malazan Book of the Fallen. I'm addicted. I understand there is a tenth one in the works too.

no idea. I picked it up to do a book report. maybe read half of it, had to wing about 90% of the oral presentation. some whore in the 5th grade class (We were combined that year) who read the book started grilling me during the presentation, lol.

anyway, I was not into it. probably meant for older readers, but whatever.
