Well I couldn't give a sh!t if their are Athletes juicing. They are nothing more to me than pawns of society, a distraction from the mundane everyday life most of us live. All they are is modern day Gladiators, on stage for our enjoyment.Originally posted by: BD2003
I'm not saying baseball is alone here with steroid abuse, but they are certainly quite flagrant about it, and are well in the public eye, and yet do little, and even that little incredibly begrudgingly. Football players might be juicing, but there is no big news about a known juicer breaking the record of arguably the sport's most famous player.
"We do it cause everyone else does it" is as a poor excuse for an entire sport than it is for a single player, if not even more so.[/b] Nobody suggested it was
I still have a soft spot for baseball in my heart, but I could care less about the current crop and the current state of the game.
But I dont think the Gladiators cheated by juicing.Originally posted by: Red Dawn

And you are the epitome of mouthy punks who take a big game but in reality is just a mousey little turd. Spit on any person, especially an Athlete, and I'm sure you'd get the beat down of your miserable life.Originally posted by: j00fek

I know the MLB doesnt want to do anything about the steroid problem because juiced HR hitters like bonds and mcgwire bring in the dough, but that doesnt make it any less shameful. Even though its just a game and I recognize that, the MLB letting these cheaters break the records of the true heros is almost enron-like in irresponsibility. Throwing away integrity and tarnishing the image of an entire sport for short term profits....sure sounds like a winning and honorable strategy for me.
That's kinda interesting cause the Yankees are better in their sport than the Knicks and Rangers are in theirs. Furthermore, the freaking Knicks sell out every game?? WTF!!

Bonds breaking the record is like running the 500 meter dash with a jetpack.
