Football players might be juicing, but there is no big news about a known juicer breaking the record of arguably the sport's most famous player.

"We do it cause everyone else does it" is as a poor excuse for an entire sport than it is for a single player, if not even more so.[/b] Nobody suggested it was

I still have a soft spot for baseball in my heart, but I could care less about the current crop and the current state of the game.
Well I couldn't give a sh!t if their are Athletes juicing. They are nothing more to me than pawns of society, a distraction from the mundane everyday life most of us live. All they are is modern day Gladiators, on stage for our enjoyment.

But I dont think the Gladiators cheated by juicing. :)

I must admit I am enjoying the news on Bonds, it is like watching a car wreck! Not that I enjoy watching a car wreck...aww...sh!t nevermind.

And you are the epitome of mouthy punks who take a big game but in reality is just a mousey little turd. Spit on any person, especially an Athlete, and I'm sure you'd get the beat down of your miserable life.
i've heard it pronounced "epp-it-ohm" before

I know the MLB doesnt want to do anything about the steroid problem because juiced HR hitters like bonds and mcgwire bring in the dough, but that doesnt make it any less shameful. Even though its just a game and I recognize that, the MLB letting these cheaters break the records of the true heros is almost enron-like in irresponsibility. Throwing away integrity and tarnishing the image of an entire sport for short term profits....sure sounds like a winning and honorable strategy for me.

That's kinda interesting cause the Yankees are better in their sport than the Knicks and Rangers are in theirs. Furthermore, the freaking Knicks sell out every game?? WTF!!

Yankee Stadium holds over 50,000 while MSG only holds around 20,000.

You could have said that from the start and saved yourself all of the justification. I can't imagine why you don't care whether the athletes are juicing - the whole point of sports is that they are legitmate contests of skill, perserverance, sportsmanship etc, and steroids undermines all of that. I find it less than enjoyable to know that the players aren't playing fair.

Which is totally awesome to watch. I'd pay top dollars to see them add that as an Olympic event. Remember the SNL steroids olympics? Fvcking AWESOME!

saw it. lucky fan in the crowd with his glove just snatched it out of the air. now he needs to hit 715 so other games can be broadcast without a bonds at-bat interruption.

It only took Bonds 835 more at-bats than the babe to tie him at 714 ;).
