bonds is a cheater
what about the all the other players that have been juicin over the years and settin records. Most just don't get caught...
exactly.. McGwire was juiced too but he was a fvcking "hero"when he was chasing 61... How many of Sosa's HRs came off of corked bats?
Ruth's record was eclipsed decades ago.. What i'm dying to see is what happens when Bonds nears Aarons record... crickets I bet, it'll be a footnote.
who cares about second place being passed...
Theyre ALL cheaters...we suspected mcgwire and sosa might be juicing, but we KNOW Bonds is/was juicing.
Every single one of them should be thrown out of the record books, or at the very least, have a very large asterisk next to their name. It is absolutely shameful that the MLB is not willing to stand up for its own integrity and allow cheaters to break the records of true baseball heroes.
And the MLB wonders why no one cares about their games anymore.
Guess you've never been to Boston, New York, Chicago, St Louis and many of the other cities where it's hard to get a ticket to the game. In fact attendance is up in MLB, a lot of that has to do with Bobds chasing the HR Record.
I live in NY, I know how hard it is to get yankee tickets. But there are very few teams that are the exception to the rule. Bleacher yankee tickets arent THAT hard to get, but Knicks or Rangers tickets are downright impossible.
I wouldnt call baseball america's pastime anymore. Too many strikes, prima donna cheating overpaid bad role model athletes, high ticket prices, games twice as long as they need to be, etc
I know the MLB doesnt want to do anything about the steroid problem because juiced HR hitters like bonds and mcgwire bring in the dough, but that doesnt make it any less shameful. Even though its just a game and I recognize that, the MLB letting these cheaters break the records of the true heros is almost enron-like in irresponsibility. Throwing away integrity and tarnishing the image of an entire sport for short term profits....sure sounds like a winning and honorable strategy for me.
