House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) took to Facebook on Tuesday to recast California’s worst drought in 1200 years as a “man-made water shortage” — not worsened by climate change, but by President Obama himself.

He also asserted that, in the midst of the historic Dust Bowl conditions, Americans still have a God-given right to green lawns.

Hmm I guess in his mind 2 + 2 = 0. Why doesn't he run for President with that logic? He'd get all the Tom Selleck and Kim Kardashian votes and some donations too!

What is going to become of Republicans when Obama is no longer in office? Their identity is so wrapped around the scary black man in the white house that they wont even know who they are anymore when he is gone.
 
He's just saying what Republicans believe. I get chain mails forwarded from my Republican friends that say same thing. They'll rant about entitlement culture all day, but don't you dare tell them they aren't entitled to a green lawn in the middle of a drought.

Hopefully all this shit gets rid of the whole concept of a lawn MUST be grass and MUST be watered and fertilized blah blah blah. Why can't I just put some fine grain rocks in my yard and call it a day? Oh because it's not the American Dream ™

lol. You dun fell for the playbook. Did you know that little fish is a keystone species? Did you know fisherman fish those waters and need that fish for the stock?
 
You can't increase your population and not increase your watershed, with all the technolgy we have you would think that there are solutions for the problems.
