The bugatti is awesome btw.. No way I'm denying that.

Yeah, it can go from 0 to 60 MPH in 2.46 seconds and has a electronically-limited top speed of 253 MPH. But it is as wide as a school bus and from what I've read it doesn't handle that great on curvy roads.

with racing slicks...no way that car can do that with street tires...

<------Still laughing.

500 HP cars are so 2003. 500 HP is the standard for mass produced high end cars these days.

you can get TWO m5s for that price.. and probably the m5 handles better too

jeez for that much I'd get a lamborghini or a ferrari.. or maybe a 911 turbo..

spending 180k for a CL is like spending 50k for a civic

so umm....where do you put the kids?

"BMW M5 - Every other car looks weak in comparison"

No one asked. And besides, if you're ballin' at high speeds and around fast corners, you shouldn't have your kids in the car anyway

Vette = redneck. Gatsby would not transport himself in that device.

Puhlease. That car would kill just about any production car under $200,000.

911 Turbo (997)

997 Turbo ain't even here yet. Hasn't even been unveiled yet.

996 Turbo S: 444HP, 3505
Z06: 505HP, 3130 lbs

I actually like the looks of the new BMWs. I'd say the 6 series is my favorite, then the 3, and then the M5 and rest of the 5 series.

And yes, BMW did rescind on the whole not offering a manual in America thing. I believe we're the only country they're changing that for, causing the rest of the world to further look down on us for not understanding the virtues of paddle-shift. Heh.

Yes, NFS4, we get it. The Z06 is an awesome car for a good price. That being said, there is no way in hell I would buy one. My $$$ would bitch slap me into the Porsche dealer and dry hump my leg until I walked out of there with whatever the $75K would get me.

That's not the point.

What is the title of this thread?

"Every other Car looks weak in comparison"

Bullsh!t. The E60 M5 is small potatoes.

A thread really hasn't reached it's peak until the phrase "dry hump" has been used in it.

Funny you should mention that, the last time I talked to the engineers on the Z06 project, they were having lots of problems with the oil system because at high Gs the oil passages in the engine weren't designed to drain it back down at that force. This is a problem that has existed in previous Vettes before, but it is more exagerated now with the performance of the C6.
