So you're trying to sell something online and you decide to take some pics of it.

why the fuck would you put up blurry pics so you can barely tell what it is, let alone the condition!??!?!? I don't think it's that difficult to take a pic, is it?

I see this alot, especially on auction sites for guns.

I took several pictures before I got a good one for my sale thread. I figured that people would be more likely to buy what I'm selling if they could see clear pics of it.

Look, if you don't want to buy the AR, FINE. You don't have to go around the internet bitching about it...

Love pictures with a lot of extra junk in 'em also so you get to try and figure out exactly WHICH piece of junk they're specifically trying to sell.

I find that the focus has to be pretty good so the family can read the date on the newspape... ehh, heh, heh... I mean, yeah, blurry pics suck.

Blurry pictures could be because they don't have a good camera, and are using a shitty cameraphone or webcam or something.

Or it could be because they don't know how to take a decent picture.

Or, it could be lazyness.

I think in most cases it's the first or second reason.

So you're trying to allow people to sell something online and you decide to let them post pics of it

why the fuck would you put up low resolution pics filled with jpg compression artifacts so you could barely tell the car has been keyed from the owner being an asshole, let alone what the keying says!??!?!? I don't think it's that difficult to have the bandwidth and storage to have slightly higher quality pics, is it?

Yeah, Craigslist is annoying. Most people don't know how to put up high resolution images. Hell, last time I posted an ad there I got a couple people emailing me just to ask how I did it.

It sucks if you're looking to buy and most of the sellers have shitty pictures. Then again, it's great if you're selling something; good way to help you stand out from the crowd.

How about upside down pictures of stuff you're selling?

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/mcy/2300266542.html

LOL talk about lazy. Most cameras record the picture orientation in the meta data with the JPG/RAW file, and when you download the pictures using the included camera software it usually auto orients the photos correctly. However if you just manually copy the photos off with say a card reader then you obviously have to do that yourself. This means though that he had the camera upside down when taking one of those pics? LOL

OK that explains it being upside down, well sort of. But he would still have seen it before posting obviously. lazy to the max. I suppose he just doesn't know how to rotate pics, which is kind of scary in its own right.
