Although there is a slim chance, infidelity is by far the most likely explanation statistically speaking.

Yeah, but that's not absolutely true. That's why I want the odds.

There's plenty of cases where people have had blue eyed parents and a non-blue eyed child. I was hoping for numbers.

Should we include the odds the material one fucked the mailman?

mendellian genetic theory is bunk because no one can look more like their father than their mother... the mother's DNA always carries more weight

My mom has blue eyes and dad has brown eyes and I have brown eyes.

What I was saying is that two blue-eyed people almost always will have a blue-eyed child, even if those two blue-eyed people each have one brown eyed parent.

In your situation if your dad has no blue-eyed ancestors its pretty much a given that you will be brown-eyed. If he does, its can go either way with your eye color.

Yup, basically if Trident's parents both have blue eyes there is a >99% chance Alkemyst is his father and <1% chance one of Trident's parents suffered multiple major blows to the skull. Those look to be the only possibilities.

Guys, I'm actually the son of Batman.

Batman's eye color doesn't actually matter in this case since you can still conceive a brown eyed child from two blue eyed parents.

Lol, this thread hits close to home for me. My wife and I both have dark brown hair and eyes. Our two year old however is blonde and very blue eyed. These traits came from our mothers. We do hear the mail/milk man jokes quite often 🙂
