Lol, this thread hits close to home for me. My wife and I both have dark brown hair and eyes. Our two year old however is blonde and very blue eyed. These traits came from our mothers. We do hear the mail/milk man jokes quite often![]()
mendellian genetic theory is bunk because no one can look more like their father than their mother... the mother's DNA always carries more weight
Blue eyed parents -> Brown eyed child
What is the probability? Anyone have a hard number or paper to back it up? (Some kind of survey, maybe?)

Yeah, but that's not absolutely true. That's why I want the odds.
There's plenty of cases where people have had blue eyed parents and a non-blue eyed child. I was hoping for numbers.
