Eye color is not really binary though, hence the recessive trait model oversimplifies the actual process a bit. I'm not sure if the process that determines eye color has been discovered yet, but I'm pretty sure that there's a rather.complex gene behind it, or multiple ones even, plus a whole lot of protein biology that may not necessarily be rvident.from the genome.
So, your wife screwed around a little. Get over it.
There's plenty of cases where people have had blue eyed parents and a non-blue eyed child. I was hoping for numbers.
Odds are your mom slept with AlkemystYeah, but that's not absolutely true. That's why I want the odds.

What color eyes does the milk man have?
genetics are funny.
my mom has blue eyes and my dad has brown eyes... odds are that both my sister and I would have brown eyes, but somehow my sister has blue eyes and I have green eyes.
don't know what color my grandparents eyes were, but I know that green is somewhere in the family because my dad's brother has blonde hair/green eyes like me even though all the other brothers are dark brown hair/brown eyes.
thought I was adopted for years or that my mom had an affair with my uncle, since we look exactly alike, but the timeline just doesn't match up (he was deployed overseas)
anything other than brown eyes is a failed attempt to make a brown eye
in a few 100 years, only brown eyes will be left
