If you were the one that decided on the trip but did not put it on your credit card how is it that you now owe her money. Just because you picked where you were going doesn't automatically mean that you're locked in and you need to pay up even if something comes up where you can't go. There are 11 other people going it's not like she's going to be short changed. You are getting pushed into a situation and not doing anything to get yourself out of it like saying no. If all else fails and she won't let you get a word in edgewise you could just start yelling and put your hands over your ears like a little kid. Whatever works for you.
