Blockbuster Online is offering existing subs a free month to avoid cancellation

I cancelled last week. Wasn't offered anything.

Fine with me. From too many scratched DVDs to taking forever to send my DVDs. (oh and horrible website!)

to hell with blockbuster. They need to clean up their act before I go back.

I know what you mean about the scratched DVDs. Just about every movie we watched had a section where it would just look up. Only way around it was to skip to the next scene. Kind of sux!

However, it's hard for me to turn down all those free movies!

This deal is no good anymore? I've been wanting to cancel for awhile. I've been wanting to cancel regardless of a free month or not. Just not using it as much as I used to.

I'm just asking if the deal will be good a third time As far as I know, you can still get at least a second free month. Guess I'll find out at the end of this week.

No offer here either... would have passed anyways. Man, BB on-line blows. From 3-5 days to exchange DVD's TO 7 DAYS!! ! Plus, the first 10 movies in my que were WAIT... LONG WAIT... LONG WAIT... bad news.

I once got a DVD that had spots all over it. It wasn't water spots either. My first guess would be some kind of acid. It probably wasn't but I have no idea what it was. I've never seen anything like it. Needless to say, but the DVD didn't work.

That's great...I got in with the free month, but since I'm using the service for mostly classics and foreign films (I have most of the mainstream stuff that I'd want to watch), I'm actually going to keep using it.

Helps that there's a warehouse 1.5 hours away 😛

when you press cancel and it gives you that screen that asks if you are sure... do you have to press "cancel" in order to see the promo? basically, when does the promo to offer you a free month pop up?

Last time I did it, I canceled and was not offered another free month. However, I tried a link provided either from here (or FW or SD) and it let me get another free month. I'll find out Saturday if I get another free (third) month or not.

UPDATE: I cancelled and didn't receive any more free month offers. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.

just to update to this thread: i had the 3-at-a-time for 4.99 for the first month, and when i cancelled it didn't give me an option for a free month.
