Yes. Or something similar. The cop wasn't white, so are you saying there's a conspiracy by cops of all races only to allow white people to carry?
There is published literature that discusses unconscious biases police officers have in terms of race and how this leads to differential treatment. In fact there is a remarkable amount of research literature on how strong and pervasive unconscious biases WE ALL have towards race and how sadly it has too much an impact on our lives, careers, personal safety, and ability to pursue the american dream.
Such literature for example:
how racial predilection affects sentencing for similar crimes (a study looked at louisiana sentencing the day after a LSU football game loss based on the race of the defendant)
how racial predilection affects callbacks for job opportunities (a study looked at job call backs based on a blind resume with the only change being the name)
how racial predilection affects odds of being pulled over for drugs
how racial predilection affects the use of force by police officers and so on and so on.
And don't forget real world data from the department of justice during their Ferguson Missouri and Baltimore, MD police department investigations.
Heck just look at our history of the death penalty...
Honestly I think its pretty naive and somewhat callous to think the black lives matters movement just materialized out of thin air and has absolutely no factual basis to stand on.
