I suppose it's possible. We've had Reaper of Souls since March 2014, so assuming that if they at least announce a new expansion pack then it could be released in March 2016. I think that two years is probably enough time (at least for a big company like Blizzard) to make a new one. I still have some doubts, however, that they'll make another expansion pack mostly due to their Seasonal content updates. I do believe that they're focusing on that portion of the game (Seasons) for now.

What I certainly think that they will most likely talk about (and reveal some information of) will be their next Season (5) along with patch 2.4 (which I do believe will come out perhaps just a few days prior to the Season's start). Still, I would like to hear of a new expansion pack, but to be honest I can't see where it could go story-wise. I mean, Diablo again? A returning Prime Evil such as Mephisto or Baal... again? A pissed-off archangel... again? Or perhaps a corrupted / demon-controlled Nephalem? I'm just not sure where they could go now really.

wow expansion will have more details discussed, hearthstone expansion likely announced, a lot of hope for something new with diablo but either a miraculous amount of hush-hush on this one or its not looking good.

There's been a significant amount of rage on the battle.net forums about the lack of space and time Diablo will receive at Blizzcon. The general thought seems to be that since D3 sold 15 mil+ copies and RoS only sold 2 mil+ there isn't any money in releasing another expansion...

im sure we will get another one its just not the top priority now, they have this year. a WoW expansion, a SC2 Expansion, and a new ip in Overwatch
as well as ongoing HS and Heros stuff

they can only do so much at any given time

I hope that you are correct. But I personally think they are done with Diablo 3 as far as actual releases go.

I wonder if they'll be giving out Overwatch beta access to BlizzCon attendees? I know they're finally allowing Virtual Ticket watchers to buy a goody bag. I could see Blizzard including the beta access in the goody bag to help drive up sales. 😛

HS expansion? They just had one. I would expect a new Adventure, if anything.

Yeah, the expansion could have fixed everything, and still nobody would have cared. RMAH and your character not even swinging their weapons. Fail.

A lot of those 15 million Vanilla Diablo's came from Blizzard giving it out for free for being their bitch for a year.
 
is 4 months from now too late to get into SC2? will there be more expansions? gonna pay off this comp that can't run it before i get sc2. playing wc3 frozen throne for now
 
On a D3 expansion - I don't see one being announced. With season play dominating the landscape now, the majority of the posts seem to pursue balance still. Adding an expansion now would throw that to the wind.

I'm still looking forward to the SC2 Protoss campaign. But honestly, I'm hoping for something big from Blizzard. Something post SC2, nothing to do with the Diablo franchise - maybe something post WoW. A starcraft MMORPG? Imagine the pvp possibilities, with a dark age of Camelot idea in an SC universe.

I don't have the time for MMORPGs anymore but somehow I'm hoping Blizzard comes up with something huge.
 
Blizzard has made it official, movie trailer officially debuts at the con.
