maybe get some life in the audience they are dead.

When I went two years ago, most of the audience were kinda nerdy. The people who werent were the ones getting wasted outside at the bar.

The Movie panel is on right now. It's interesting to hear about how the visual director is a huge WoW nerd and has been playing since alpha. He kept having to "schedule" time during his other movies over the years to play WoW. 😛
 
Blackrock foundry first expansion raid. 10 bosses. non-linear path. Head boss is Blackhand. Blackrock clan the main war gear producers of the horde.
 
Raid tiers:

tier 1: LFR becomes flexible, otherwise the same.
tier 2: Normal, also becomes flexible.
tier 3: Heroic, also becomes flexible.
tier 4: introduction of mythic.

i.e. flexible gone as it's own raid structure.

(tier my own term)

each tier has it's own lockout. all tiers will be cross-realm, friend invite eligible from day 1 the raid is open.

Only LFR has a queue, all others still need to be formed.

LFR has same loot distro as now.

Normal & Heroic has standard leader chooses distro allowing loot to be traded, amount of drops determined by number in raid.
 
Quest: all hubs active, no more having to be lead from one to the other. Quest log will indicate main storyline quest to help a player decide which lines he really should complete before leaving a zone.

The treasure chest and other dynamic events from in timeless isle will be a common feature throughout the expansion area.

Some type of reward mechanism allowing a player to get a blue instead of just greens from the standard quest handed out.

Looking at a map screen shot, (main story/achievement) quest locations shown even though you haven't discovered the area yet.

Max level content: "More than ever before"
 
starting garrison buildings: town hall, mine, farm, fishing shack.

the types of buildings you can add are ranked by their size. all the ones that give access to professions are small. also medium and large types. large ones seem to give the bonuses to your followers.

there will be a new UI element to manage building placement and upgrades.

blueprints will be quest rewards or item drops that give access to upgrades.

once you've upgraded a building to max (rank 3) you can choose a specialization which seems to give a buff or some other useful effect to your actual char.

garrison plots increase as you rank up your garrison. once you fill all current plots you can upgrade to get more plots. seems to also be a 3 rank process.

missions have difficulties and traits. assigning followers with a matching trait helps success.

lol at the best guilds in the world wiping many times with gararah (sp) and the dark shaman. ive been lucky a couple of times and got a LFR where we oneshotted all the bosses in downfall.
 
added an ingame function similar to oqueue/open raid.

also giving bonus valor if you group with friends and run a dungeon/raid. this bonus buff will also apply if a group of non-"friend" did a dungeon and stay requeue after the first one.

giving incremental bonuses to spells from 91-100.

hit & expertise gone.

dodge & parry gone.

reforge gone.

fewer enchants.

less items with gem slots. no socket bonus or meta gems.

instead of having STR or INT plate drop, an armor type will drop and the primary spec will depend on your current spec, changing as you change spec.

armor becomes tanking stat.



DURABILITY REMOVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

adding tertiary stats, similar to some diablo gear. (+speed, lifesteal, cleave etc...)


and as I guessed earlier item squish is coming.

something I forgot to mention earlier for the new flex raid aspect, instead of having hard numbers so people try to find "the sweet spot", instead of having an ability increase from say 14 to 15 people, it will have percentage chance of occurring based on how many people are there, so if you were at 14 you'd have an 80% chance of the minor ability and %20 of the major, and at 15 it would be reversed to equalize the occurrence over duration of the encounter.


The phasing tech will be improved for WOD, so when you look at your garrison from a distance you will be able to see how you have it laid at vice the farm today where you don't see your crops until on top of them.

They are thinking about having cards in hearthstone unlock items in other games.

arena expanded up to 12 wins.

ETC card available next patch.

movie live action with CGI, special effects guy compares it to cross between avatar and game of thrones.

industrial light and magic doing CGI portion.
 
filming will be in vancover area.

armor/weapons used will be somewhat exaggerated in wow style but toned down enough to be realistic.

D3: GF and MF will be restricted in paragon levels via ability to allocate points. Although you can freely respec.

a lot of the newer hi level gear will be soulbound.
