revising the arena, "seasons" being changed to limited duration availability periods and now called trail of the gladiator. Designed to help stop fight fixers by limiting battles to when a significant amount of people would be in queue.

garrisons character bound, in party leader's garrison will be shared among others. not sure yet on alt access.

From a blue post: "We're adding some fun new stats to gear, such as Movement Speed and Cleave, which gives you a chance to do extra damage or healing to additional nearby targets. In addition, we'll be retiring a few stats that players don't find very enjoyable to manage, such as Hit and Expertise."

On one hand, EZ-mode much?

On the other hand, it will be nice to not have to worry about it...

during one of the one-on-one qa parts, no more content patches for MOP till the WOD prepare one, just some maintenance ones....and I believe he mentioned "like adding in item squish"

as of today, they are both such generic get till you are at max type stats that doesn't surprise me.

well that's odd...

So they almost did what I said they should, and all raiding is flexible, normal or heroic 10-25.

But they added a 20 man mythic difficulty tier and left LFR separate.

Wait what? How many different versions are we going to have now?

I haven't played since February (though I may reactivate this weekend for some nostalgia purposes, I have an odd desire to play my DK through some TBC and WotLK dungeons...) -- but I was fully geared (mage) up through and including the 3rd boss on normal HoF. I don't remember the specific cap number, but for some reason 15% sticks out...I had everything I could reforged into hit except one item, and I was at 15.02%.

Getting hit capped was always a challenge when you first hit max level -- it may have been a little tedious and certainly could be frustrating if you weren't getting -- or worse, lost the rolls on -- drops you needed for the cap. But it was something to work toward and gave you at the very least, a minor sense of accomplishment when you hit the cap and could focus on int.

Then again, I'm in the category of people that wishes they never got rid of the "key" quests.

My understanding is there will be (1) LFR (2) Normal flex 10-25 (3) Heroic flex 10-25, and (4) Mythic 20. I'm probably wrong.

that's right.

watching the D3 stuff now, not much solid on hearthstone one other than just interesting to watch development of the game. Will need to rewatch the WoW Q&A later.

D3 they've removed the need to progress linearly through the acts and have opened all waypoints and quest hubs, can start the game and instantly go anywhere any difficulty.

wolf head one is durotan. most of them were mentioned during the different clan discussions.

the side by side char model comparisons are up on mmoc.

It's less of an annoyance. Right now you just cap it and then restat to something else.

Lupi, thanks for the live blog!

Really liking the fact that we are getting 10 more lvls instead of 5...hopefully this xpac is more "meaty" 🙂

I in the middle of the HotS now, then will probably watch contest and hit the detailed WoW Q&A tomorrow morning on the rewind.
