give it a rest if you dont like it.. simple EQ2 launches tomorrow and they have even skimpier outfits..
so go whine there...

Me and you usually get along man but you are way out in right feild BY yourself on this one...

heh...I am just misunderstood. Thanks for dismissing me though, that's great.

I don't care about this whole topic from a moral standpoint. I don't care what you saw at lunch, or what I see at the beach. I do not care what women wear in real life. I'm not talking about anything other than the world of warcraft.

What I do care about is when it's a stupid addition to otherwise shining artwork. It's a money grabbing ploy and of course it's working. That makes me bitter. It's also dumb. To mention sexuality, I find female warriors in full platemail but retaining the female figure far more alluring than the bs in that screenshot.

And put down the BIBLE? How ironic. I guarantee I am the least religious person you are ever likely to know.

To say i'm on my own here ain't exactly true. If you looked at the thread I linked (and the 3-4 others that have been deleted by Blizzard) you'd know that. Most agree with me in fact.

But whatever, maybe this was the wrong place to bring it up but it's the only forum I frequent and nobody I know irl actually plays games or if they do, they dont enjoy discussing em.

So give me a break and thanks for the discussion such as it was.

Nice sarcasm.

Look, I think he's just saying by "put down the bible", that you're being too preach about WoW, not about religon. (why would be bring your faith into this?)

"I dont care about the whole thing in general"

What?! you don't? I think its the exact opposite, I think you care a considerable amount!

But thats just my opinion. Let move on shall we?;)

Heck, HL is coming!!! :D :D

I did edit my post to clarify my position. I don't care about this issue generalized like that. I do care about this issue related to WoW. And that last line wasn't sarcasm if that's what you're referring to.

That post was intended to allow us all to move on our happy way down the yellow brick road...oh, wait...

I think the underlying problem here is that there are no barbarians wandering around in thongs...
I bet that would make Mal happy. hahahah. Seriously dude, according to the blizzard gods of all things warcraft, the world of warcraft includes hot ass-kicking babes. You should develop an anti nude patch to make the game G instead of PG.

Mal bro, Im not attacking you I just think that this is a lame excuse to dump over a great game..
you didnt like it in stress either you said...
you came back to make up your mind and it sounds like you have...
leave it at that..
most peeps are not offended by wow..
id let any kid i know play it...
its an innocent game especially with the profanity filter on...

now you want pure and total sex appeal and a reason to while look at Anarchy online who lets you wear tiny thongs and other lingerie just because they can...
thats over the line for kids... or even the SIMS which was originaly a game for the whole family... now its bascially a soft porn movie... that is a little over the line also...
butt shorts on a Tauren MOO MOO or any other wow char is not =P

now wow where the whole game is cartoony and funny I dont find any sex appeal in a dorf or a nome wearing butt shorts or a chain mail bra...
its cute.. its funny and it stays with the High fantasy theme..

EQ2 tomorrow and 30 days free.. i bet you will be back to WoW on the eve of day 30 =P

I haven't got a problem with how skimpy the outfits get - hell, they could be naked and I wouldn't be complaining about the falling standards of morality in video games. What DOES bother me is how stupid it looks. I think there's a lot to be said for attractive humans in games, both male and female, but this just looks ridiculous. Neverwinter Nights did it better years ago (ever have the camera behind a female wearing the right armour? :D), and that was without relying on stupid skimpy outfits.

All the graphics seem to have that characteristic Blizzard stumpiness/ugliness, which is a major detracting feature in my opinion.

This I agree with.
I don't care much about the morality of it all, I just don't think a paladin should run around in a bikini and pretend it's armour.
A night eld high priestess or something, that would be fine, they shouldn't wear plates and stuff IMO, so they may as well wear the Xena bikini, but not a paladin.

This is down due to the site. Can someone explain to me what you're talking about or have a different link off the site?
