Don't have the Buddha album, but I don't know if I'll get around to that.

Why do I like 'em? Catchy, memorable tracks, irreverent, silly attitude, a 40 year old wouldn't listen to this crap so it asserts my youth. I don't care how easy their music is to play, I don't play guitar. I listen to music that I enjoy and their music is enjoyable in a carefree sense.

I don't see anything wrong with Blink, perhaps that is because I don't listen to overplayed radio stations or watch MTV. But, arn't they pop and not punk? I mean if you compare them against good punk, they arn't going to be able to hold their own.

And yes, there is such a thing as good punk music, people that trash all punk music are very ignorant of a genre. Like all genres it has its good and its bad and you have to know how to listen to it and what to expect. Punk songs are cool because they don't try to artificially inflate their song. If the song ends up being 50 seconds, then so be it, 50 second song here we come. I like that, very refreshing after listening to a 30 minute trance track or something similar.

Skoorb, I can't believe you'd rather listen to Backstreet Boys. Perhaps you havn't heard much of them, I will bring my sister's BSB cd collection to your house and force you to listen to them 24/7 and see whether you think they are better than Blink.

Although I am no great Blink fan, I have enjoyed their concerts. I was just making a point about musical "bigotry" and trashing a genre that you are really not familar with.
