hehe I like this news article quote from that site:

"Athiests account for 902,000 or 0.4% of the US population. Those who believe in a God or some sort of a higher being account for over 86% of the US population. It is amazing that such a small minority can rule over a large majority. "

damn we all be in some serious trouble!!!

"We need everything you've got"

But didn't specifically request troops as she didn't feel she needed to.

"We need everything you've got"

What could be more clear that that was a desperate plea for help?

She's guilty of being ill-informed of what she specifically needed to request.

Did you watch the whole thing? Including the part where she said "I really need to call for the military, and I should've started that the first call."? It seems *she* wasn't even clear with what she said.

I guess she gets a break, though, because... well... I'm sure there *has* to be a reason.

What could be more clear than she was inept and didn't know the requirements when filling out her request to the president?

Or could it be that she knew what she was doing, as she'd done it the previous year, didn't make the proper request for personnel, and tried to hide that after the fact?

Doesn't this fall under the "Obvious" category?

Akin to not having a moron run FEMA?

Now that dimwits are praising Bush for "sorta" accepting responsibility, why not give up the tired MO of trying to blame someone else for your failures. Everybody involved did their part to screw this pooch (and leave him in the toxic soup of LA to starve).

Blanco is going to get her payback, unless of course there's a miraculous rebirth of NOLA. It's too late to dump that turd, Bush.

For people who talk about "loving America" they sure have no concept of the American Constitution, Bill of Rights, etc. Why not just make a national religion then and outlaw the rest? It follows from their logic.

http://usinfo.state.gov/products/pubs/principles/majority.htm

Majority rule is a means for organizing government and deciding public issues; it is not another road to oppression. Just as no self-appointed group has the right to oppress others, so no majority, even in a democracy, should take away the basic rights and freedoms of a minority group or individual.

As for the OP, the link doesn't work and the web sight is a laughable ametuer right wing blog.

And? This probably just means Jindel will be the governor on the next round.

And why can't we all settle with the "Everyone screwed up" part?

If you cut-and-paste, it works fine. The website doesn't want hot-linking. Besides, it's a clip from the Today show. Where should it matter where you found the video?

Since when did sites have to be professional-looking for y'all to believe them?

No joke. If half the energy spent on arguing who's at fault were spent on cleaning up NO, they'd be a lot closer to reopening the whole city.

LOL. Your reply is equivalent to 'Pay no attention to the video. Look over there instead.'

btw. The link works fine for me. Don't know what you're doing wrong.

WoW...

Soon this will morph to "she was taken out of context" then "she never said that" followed by it is all part of the vast right wing conspiracy.

Covering is not 1 12 step program.

2000 - The Fla Supreme Court - by not issuing proper guidelines for recounts and allowing cherry picking. Therefore no one really ever knew what the voters decided. a majority did not pick bush, howver that is the way the electoral college work (at present).

2004 - The voters of the United States made that decision.

Any other theories?

They are? Most responses seem to be pretty much "way to state the obvious" responses.
