If he can dodge the charges, for impeachment, then criminally, it's a solid resume builder for BHO's first round of staff replacements in a year or so.
His lawyer is one of Chicago's (Cook County's, Illinois') best Mob lawyer (Gee, I can't imagine where he got the phone number for that guy) and has quite the reputation for finding the smallest of loopholes.
For as much as I like Fitz, with this guy as Blago's lawyer, i'd give it a 50% chance of conviction (criminally) at best, and probably 75-80% chance he'll skate on the impeachment.
If he makes it out "clean", he'll be re-elected (the metro population loves a scoundrel) for something to do until BHO gives him the call.
