While I don't have an issue with Blackberry or the Storm, those first two quotes, out of context, don't really fit your argument. They're referring to a standard Blackberry, like a Tour or a Bold, in the first statement, not the Storm - and the second statement is about the virtual keyboard - which the Storm hasn't exactly gotten rave reviews on either.
The lack of a password is an issue with corporate environments, no doubt about that, but Android i working its way there - last year it didn't even do Exchange.
I don't really know what they're talking about with a lack of apps - there are a lot of useful apps, you just have to find them around the star gazing ones. In fact, there's an app that addresses their big issue - the keyboard.
At any rate, while I don't agree that Blackberry is going anywhere, this little lash-out against Android, out of context, was misplaced and misleading.
Well I guess you missed the point of my post. These are not my words. They are ALL from the Boy Genius Report review of the Droid, one of the great exponents of the Driod prior to release and are meant to show how easy it is to shoot ANY phone down with weasel words. The point isn't supposed to 'defend' Storm 1 or 2, I'm not going to do that for those who are never going to give it the time of day just because one web site doesn't render like a desktop machine. However, while others put words in MY mouth, I only quote industry pundits and it is certainly not out of context based upon the trolling/flamebait aimed squarely in my direction.
As for typing I would suggest you try the Storm2 for typing for a week as it IS probably the best touch screen typing experience out there. But don't take my word for it, live with it for a month. Unless you want a browser that will run ACID3 perfectly all day, but I bet even the iPhone can't do that, but surely 30 posters will run in here, defending it, going on about how amazing it is even though it also has failings.
