Its like a tornado went trough your shop man. That alternator looks too new. Hit with some grease 😛

cant wait to see picts of it on the track!

yep tornado certainly has gone through my shop. 8-9 weeks since ive cleaned it last between the race car, wedding plans and keeping my shop running and paying for everything i have had 0 time to clean it! hopefully after MS2 is complete and running i should be able to take the 5-6hours its gonna take to clean it before i go on my honeymoon in Nov!

We didn't take many photos - too busy getting everything ready and then racing.

1, 2, 3, before leaving. 4, at the track. 5, NHMS. 6, black2na in car ready to go out for the first stint. 7, on track. 8, staged pic to send to people (no nomex head sock). 9, on track. 10, very blurry...car on track.

Scott Barton's BMW - he also uses it to beat up on the Porsche and BMW clubs at track days too, but after this race it might be a little too beat up to continue...apparently they want the cars to look somewhat presentable. Pfft. Smashed to shit 4cyl BMW on street tires (and yes, "STREET TIRES" is written on the back of the car) whipping up on $80k track toys? Too much fun. :awe:

Internet is really acting up..still on the east coast and apparently there's some storm or something. If they aren't up by now they'll be up eventually.

Bump, this thread requires moar awesome.

None of the paper racers have commented on our car's 'ring time, skid-pad numbers, or 0-60 time. Or how it lacks power (only 130hp) making it not fun to drive... thus no ATG discussion.

😉

Looks like it's time to weld in new panels for the BMW...

How are we supposed to decry your white race-thing if you won't even provide run times? Afraid of us or something? 😉

It probably can't even pull .90G turns...

I started at the end of this and was scrolling up...was thinking, "yep, them's some interesting dirt track cars."

Then it was "holy balls, they do that much bumping on asphalt?"

Props. That seems like fun. I've always wanted to build a cheap racecar to compete in one of the low-end classes. Maybe just 4cyl near-stockers. Ideally some old POS with a Chevy V8 ('cause it's faster but still cheap as shit).

These aren't your typical HPDEs with controlled passing and two cars within 100 yards. Try 121 cars on a 1.6 mile road course. Pass where you can fit! Contact happens - there was at least one rollover last weekend, but that was driver error.
