Yea that guy that shot his girl was way too uptight about everything. Interesting how Vane wants to be the one to kill Flint, so he's willing to do a land raid to retrieve him just for that purpose.

I really don't think Vane wants to get Flint out to fight Flint. I think Vane wants to to deny Charles Town the pleasure of killing one of the most famous captains of Nassau.

After this, I don't see how Flint can continue to fight for a legitimate Nassau anymore. Sooner or later, Lord Ashe and Flint to cross path again.

My prediction: Vane got Flint out, Rhett got killed by Flint in the process. On the way back, they free Eleanor some how.

That's one of the many disconnects in this show. This episode S2E09 is one of the best episodes so far. Can't wait to see how they get Flint out. I am willing to bet the Col. Rheh (?) will pay for that shot.

I like the show schedule; back sails then games of thrones. Anyone has another similar theme show to recommend for the second half of the year? I like pirates, swords, knights, castles etc.

OMG!! You like Pirates, Knights, large Castles and sword fighting?

I have the perfect show for you now. And guess what? It is on TV (HBO) right now as we speak.

Here is the link...

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2581458/

Show is called "Looking"

Basically, you have tons of "butt" Pirates trying to conquer large towering "Castles" defended by Knights with tons of "sword" fighting. Last week's episode was soooooooooo awesome because we had the evil knight being conquered by the Hero "butt" pirate after an AWESOME duel of two "swords" fighting. At times, the action was hot and intense and quite "hairy" at times. I swear it was an incredible episode that many of us couldn't bare to swallow.

Please watch this show because I am sure it covered all the juicy bases and numerous plots you would desire. If you watch this show once I am sure you will "cum" back for more.

Someone told me they used high powered speed boats. Could be plausible? Maybe? Sort of? Kind of?

Vane has a ship, no? I thought it was in the bay. Maybe it's faster? It's still a huge plot hole because people would have seen them load the ship with supplies and leave. At a minimum they'd notice the ship was gone.

Meh.

Vane's ship was still in the bay. When Rhackham and his buddy were knocking on the fort door, one of them said something about it.

Vane also mentions in his note that he made "other plans" or something like that, just in case Guthrie were to betray him. So my assumption is that he had arranged another ship..possibly hidden somewhere off the island, and they probably left very shortly after Flint's crew and followed not far behind all the way to Charleston.

Just came here to say I loved the first season.

Pros:
Pirates
Jessica Parker Kennedy

Cons:
It's Starz and not HBO

I don't get how Vane got from 2014 Chicago to 1715 Nassau

Those eyes. And those tits...

I'd have no problem doing the swirl with her

Suck we have to wait another 9 months until season 3. Wish more networks did what AMC has done with the walking dead, and have 2 mini-seasons per calendar year.

It's a great show. I've been watching episodes for the past few weeks. Almost done with season 3 then it's on to the 4th and final season.

It's good to know this show has a definitive beginning and end given the source material it's based off of. It does a great job at following it as well.

This show will never get the credit it deserves. I too love how it has an arc, it follows through, and finishes without dragging on. I sincerely miss it.
