only bad thing about that move is tom sizemore. knowing what a lowlife scumbag he is hurts the movie.

the actor or the character he plays...what did he do...i never heard anything about him?

stebbins, yes...he molested chilren later...

The actor. Tom Sizemore was great in the movie. He's a drug addict off camera.

My beef with casting british actors for american roles is they cannot or will not master the art of the southern accent.

Nah I blame it on Clinton. Washington clearly could've allowed more firepower like AC-130 gunships and more attack helicopters. Furthermore they could've waited another 3 weeks and not jumped in on operations this fast.

The movie was pretty good. I loved the combat and it kinda raged me in the end to see them abusing American soldiers and the people dancing to the fallen helicopter. Everytime I watch the movie, it resurges my patriotism and it re-energizes me on my stance supporting the war on terror.

<---- Future Soldier :)....I got 3 more months until I sign the papers for MOS 31b(Military Police)..

Black Hawk Down is the best movie I've seen, excluding Full Metal Jacket.

I saw something awhile back that said when they showed this movie in Somalia for the purpose of a documentary the attendees were cheering the killing of the American soldiers. So ignorant.

You just listed two of my all time favorites. FMJ is a timeless look into a boy's transformation into a man who will never be the same.
