I think we need to come up with a time. I don't think we should start too late though. :)

I can try to make the drive down from Chatty as long as I can find where it is. (never been to Birmingham that I can remember...) :p

Damn you live only two hours away! Well 2 hours 15. It's very easy. You take the 59 south and it leads you all the way into birmingham. Of course we'll give real directions as the time approaches!

LOL...I didn't say I couldn't read road signs. I've made drives to Canada without a map before. I'm just saying that I don't know the area so if you say meet at Sammy's I can only TRY to find the place. I am resourceful though when I need to be.

As far as the wife-swapping thing goes, I don't have a wife....but I'm sure I could order one online before then if necessary.

It's still a couple off weeks away, no need for overnight!

No way I'm going to live with that hairy ape for 2 weeks all for only one night of passion. It's not worth it. Overnight or nothing... :p

Hey, I was wondering if there were any other Mississippians here. I'm from Biloxi, but I'm displaced now.

OK...so we still need to decide on a place (and time, too).

How about some suggestions so we can get this nailed down?

I agree! I don't think we should meet too late. I'm not sure what time is good for everyone but I don't want to start the night off at 8:00 pm. :)

As long as it isn't from 11AM to 1:30 because that is my nephew's b-day party!

I was thinkin that an early dinner might miss the rush.
Like...4:45 or 5:00.
Also, that also gives me a chance to come, and still get home before dark-thirty :D

Yeah that works...perhaps meeting early afternoon for those that also have to drive home!

If we have folks coming from as far away as some have said, then earlier might be better.
Earlier is always better for me. Maybe if more folks chime in with times we can get an idea of what's good.

Maybe you could change part of the the thread title to ask for times, MrsSkoorb?

BTW: I just noticed the pic of Skoorb SMILING! Holy Christmas! Will wonders never cease? :D

Done Tallgeese!

:)

Actually, I think early afternoon would work really well...drive in the morning and then home in the evening for those who are not staying in the area.

What does everyone think?

Can I go too? Birmingham is only 45 minutes away from where I live - Tuscaloosa, a proud home of Crimson tide!

AU Tiger, we are gonna kick your ass majorly on November 23rd :D

Dude, if you can get there before the police catch you (a la The Blues Brothers) then you're good to go

Shout out to ohtwell on this one too :D
Remember...records don't count (or matter) when it comes to the Iron Bowl. That's one thing that makes it such a great rivalry, and such a great game year after year.

I honestly believe that after some very minor changes to the QB role on offense and the loss of "Cadillac" Williams, Auburn has made some serious progress in a very short time.
I think it'll be a CLOSE game.

Tide on top...of course!
