Interesting...was this Chrome on Windows? Did you get a message that the browser was not supported?

Yep, Chrome for Windows, nope, no error message. Worked just fine out of the box.

Do you have Silverlight installed? Maybe it wants Silverlight, and in Chrome doesn't handle the error gracefully?

hmm don't care for bing maps. though haven't used it much

If you haven't tried it in awhile, I'd recommend at least checking it out. It really has improved a lot in the past year.

I do have Silverlight installed...but according to their own install website, Chrome is not supported on OS X 10.4+. I'd have to use Safari or Firefox. Oh well...at some point it will be supported

Every time a site uses Bing for their maps I ignore it and go to Google instead. Bing is horrible.

Google maps on the iphone is garbage. Bing app is far superior to the google app on the iphone, and the bing map is faaaaar superior on the iphone. the streets are easier to read, search is faster/extremely superior, intuitive POI's, it automatically goes into 3d view when you zoom in close, and traffic doesn't hide street names. The maps also load infinitely faster over at&t's retarded network in bing. I have no idea why i always have to wait for google maps to load its maps, where in bing, i really do not have to wait.

Bing Maps works fine for me on Chrome.

The Bing iPhone application is pretty slick. I like the maps feature on it. It shows the direction that you are moving, which can be helpful when orienting yourself with the map.

Meh. Google does everything just fine. I have no need for Bing. The only few times I've used Bing was when I couldn't find results on Google and Bing didn't fare any better either.

Oh the only thing that Bing is good at is to find porn and bing cashback. Not sure if either are relevant any more.

Lately google has been giving me wrong directions despite a correct address. When using
Bing they get it right.

I like Bing. I prefer it to Google for many things, but still use Google for basic searches and email. But for images and video and maps Bing is preferred.

Map in my area is outdated by 5 years as shown in Bing. Google at least 4 months old.

Google with fake 3D view. :\ 143rd and Southwest highway Metra train station in front of my place incorrectly indicated in pin mark.

Obsolete aerial view with Bing Maps 3D. Pin mark a little accurate but still off (house on the hill).

I haven't been at my place for 5 years yet I can see my car in the satellite image parked outside my apartment.

I use both Bing and Google...but mostly Google. I keep running into things I can't do on Bing maps.

I've been using Bing for a long time and the results were pretty crappy in the beginning but now the search/map/image is quite excellent.
