The fact that this is something people get upset at is kind of hilarious and scary at the same time! Should they have had him play counter strike at the time Ender's game style?

Link to Obama taking "most of the credit" ? Every time I saw him speak about it he was busy commending the skill and professionalism of the SEALs and pilots involved, stressing the notion of team work. And he continually repeated it too as I recall, using the example of the SEALs in the raid in his state of the union I think it was, alluding to Americans needing to "have each others back" in a similar sense. Never have I heard Obama downplay anyone's roles in that raid, so help me out here.

I just would love to see something that indicates the capricious, ego driven attitude the Obama haters like to mention. So far all I've heard and seen is reheated talk radio tripe, all spit and no polish.

I'm not sure if he's incompetent at playing Spades. The article doesn't say if he won or lost. Further, 15 games - that would take a hell of a long time. I'm not sure why no one has even thought to question that. I'm wondering how you came up with "coward" though - oh wait, you're a partisan troll.

Yeah . . . If you are going to insult someone's intelligence you might want to be a bit more, um, intelligent about it. There is no real word "homosapien". The human species is Homo sapiens, or if you wish to be totally correct Homo sapiens sapiens. This is true of even a single individual. 'Homo' is the genus, 'sapiens' is the species, and the second 'sapiens' is the extant subspecies. All else I'll say is that hopefully Heaven does not have a grammar test.

That picture does look odd, but personally I don't care if it's Photoshopped. The President's duty is to authorize the operation. The night that Operation Lightfoot kicked off Montgomery's successful battle to defeat Rommel's Axis forces at El Alamein, Montgomery went to bed at something like 7 or 8 PM even though the fate of tens of thousands of men under his command and quite possibly also the fate of the African theater hung in the balance. Eisenhower went to bed early the night of the DD invasion with the fate of hundreds of thousands and quite possibly the war hanging in the balance. Perhaps Obama really watched it and perhaps he did not, but any civilian war leader needs to understand that at some point he has fulfilled his role and further intervention is only likely to muck it up. Better by far to get out of the way until needed again, and if he was off playing cards and was later Photoshopped in, that is distressingly common in D.C. It is not a city that runs on honesty, and I would not be at all surprised if this entire picture was staged later with the missing parties Photoshopped into place like so many paper dolls.

I do think Obama made a serious strategic political error in his "I love me some me" speech, trying to give the impression that he practically elbowed aside the professional warriors and killed bin Laden personally in spite of them. But even there that is a political miscalculation, not a scandal.

He is incompetent as president. He didn't want to kill bin laden more than once until hillary clinton convinced him to go ahead. Why is he playing cards when there is a raid going on to target OBL?

He is the president and should behave better than this, he should be keeping a close eye on the situation. He takes credit for killing OBL yet it was the Seals who did the real work and not obama.

I am not a partisan troll. I criticize all big government supporters whether they are democrat or republican. The reason I criticize obama is because he has violated the Constitution and he genuinely believes the US isn't fair and should be more like Europe.

Totally agree with this. The POTUS makes the final call about whether there is an attack, and in this particular case, the broad decision to use the SEAL team v. an airstrike. After that he really should get out of the way because the operational details need to be handled by the brass. My guess is that he absented himself for awhile but came in when informed that the operation was nearing its climax.

Just to emphasize, I don't think his speech was dishonest; it just was not politically smart. Much smarter to throw in one self-reference while emphasizing the men who actually risked their lives and those men and women who spent the long hours to make this possible, then let his adoring public in the mainstream media sing his praises.
