Car sounds killer with exhaust and header! Can't wait till I get my tuner on Wednesday to really unleash her!

P.S. I nicknamed my car "Shadow", check out the wheels I shall be ordering soon from Tirerack!!

P.P.S. Car currently has 25% tints and I am going to black out the head and tail lights.

Whew I'm relieved, I thought it was another one of them Canadian earthquakes. Surely the ground was rumbling from when you unleashed the 2L inline-four hounds of hell.

Just wait till I boost my Focus. You all will see I will show you all. And gladly beat you all including bimmers at the track.

I've just placed my order for the exhaust, race headers and tune...BOO-YAH!

You guys underestimate the Focus, it is quite a quick car. You just have to know the pedal sweetspots to really get it to take off.

I'll admit take off is a little slow, but once your moving around 20-30MPH and gas it, it pulls pretty damn hard.

I must ride in this beast!!! Or maybe race it? Do you think you can beat a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP? It's a 4 door car but bigger and heavier than your Focus.

My Focus does 0-60 in 8s FLAT. That's barely 1s slower than the Civic Si, I haven't timed it yet with the new intake, exhaust, race headers and tune.

You cannot pull "pretty damn hard" from 30mph on a FWD car with street tires.

I guarantee you it would be damn close. Any takers around Miami?

I have half a mind to drive down sometime - I'm due for a road trip...but I know you won't show up.

I never understood the mindset of people buying economy, grocery getting cars with automatics and then blowing huge amounts of $ to make them slower, handle worse while sounding like a constipated warthog.

Yes, I said slower. I guarantee the OP will wind up with a slower than stock 4 banger after losing bottom end torque while not really improving anything top end.

Hint: air + fuel = power. Your theoretical buildup is missing something very important.
Hint2: it's not a giant wing

Congratulations. My car is 11 years older, completely stock, cost me under $3000, and it'll blow yours away.

Oh yeah, you're lucky I don't have a camera that takes video at the moment.

Hint 1: Tune adjusts air/fuel ratios and requires use of 91 Octane fuel.

Hint 2: I doubt your 11yr old dinosaur can touch mine.

Hint 3: I win. You know nothing about cars if you think that my upgrades won't make my car faster.
