He gave away millions to:

medical research...

Between 1998 and 2012, Koch contributed at least $395 million to medical research causes and institutions

the arts....

In July 2008, Koch pledged $100 million over 10 years to renovate the New York State Theater in the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, now named in his honor[70] and pledged $10 million to renovate fountains outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art.[71]

education....

From 1982 to 2013, Koch contributed $18.6 million to WGBH Educational Foundation, including $10 million to the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) show Nova.[76][77] Koch was a contributor to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., including a $20 million gift to the American Museum of Natural History, creating the David H. Koch Dinosaur Wing and a contribution of $15 million to the National Museum of Natural History to create the new David H. Koch Hall of Human Origins, which opened on the museum's 100th anniversary of its location on the National Mall on March 17, 2010.[78] He also served on the executive board of the Institute of Human Origins.[79] In 2012, Koch contributed $35 million to the Smithsonian to build a new dinosaur exhibition hall at the National Museum of Natural History.[80][81]

Koch also financed the construction of the $68 million Koch Center for mathematics, science and technology at the Deerfield Academy, a highly selective independent, coeducational boarding school in Deerfield, Massachusetts,[82][non-primary source needed] and was named its first and only Lifetime Trustee.[82]

...and was even commended by Bronco Bama for his efforts regarding prison reform to help prevent recidivism.

He was a great man by any measure.
I'm sure epstein donated money too.

The sum total donated here seems to be around 500 million over 30 years. To put that in perspective, it is said he spent around 1 billion dollars in the last 10 years alone on politics. At the time of his death he was worth >40 billion I believe and was the richest person living in the state of NY.

Normalize the amount spent on charity to his total income/net worth and you'll see it's pretty paltry. It's akin to say a person who makes 100,000 thousand USD per year spending a total of 1250 dollars over 30 years on charity. Very impressive indeed.

You think so? You are posting in a thread where numerous lefties are celebrating and dancing about the death of a man.

Usually in a RIP thread no one curses, spits on or celebrates the death.

A few may be over the top ... and this is the marks of which you measure yourself by. In a race for the bottom, you are determined to be first? Good job man 🙂.

The guy who wants to murder immigrant children with hand grenades would like you guys to know that you’re bad people for being happy one of the Koch brothers is dead.

I don't think anyone said this was supposed to be a RIP thread. Read the first post. For a reference of a RIP thread, perhaps look at the stuff created when McCain died.
Also whilst I don't believe in insulting the dead (mostly out of courtesy to their families), it doesn't mean that I feel neutral about all deaths. Bad people do die and it's ok to acknowledge that they are dead and that people thought they were bad from a factual standpoint. If the NK leader drops dead tomorrow, most people won't cry for these reasons.

That's an attempt to shave it far too closely, it's an announcement that David Koch has passed away. Laughing at your claim it's not an RIP thread.

I think you got your Russian trolls mixed up. Slow is the one that wants to hand grenade innocent children.

Now the guy who wants to murder immigrant children with hand grenades is lying about his previous posting history.

I guess that’s to be expected, psychopaths are usually huge liars.

No it was definitely Taj. This was from before Slow posted in PN. If I wasn’t on my phone I would dig up the post.
I'd love to see where i have ever said anything about harming children at any time, anywhere. You can't because i've never advocated or promoted harming children.

Using grenades to collapse drug, criminal and terrorist tunnels I have supported.
