Easy to make fun of ELP courtesy of Peter Griffin but there was a reason they actually were legendary .... this is three guys with minimal "tech" compared to today. (and OMFG @ Carl Palmer!)

I do like both of them, but I'd rank many other S&G songs above either.

This would be that whole "subjective" thing I mentioned earlier! ;)

Many folks seem to have issues confusing "my favorite" and "the best".

Lucky Man is a solid jam though.

This was the first ELP song that got to me:



A lot of their music that never saw much/any air-play is really good... far better than most of the popular numbers.

Check out an album called "Tarkus". :)

I've listened to Brain Salad Surgery for sure, I don't remember if I listened to Tarkus as well, it's been a while.
