Bill Gates leaving the company?Rumor or not...can Microsoft withstand tough competition from Google and Apple? Will they have the ruthlessness that Bill Gates has demonstrated throughout these years. Are they going to continue as being number one or is this the decline of Microsoft...

Leaving as in his day-to-day duties? This was announced quite a long time ago. And he's been scaling back his duties over the pats several years anticipating this move anyway.

What? Is he leaving the company? Are you sure about this all crap or this is a rumor? Please tell us man. What's going on?

I think this is a joke? I don't think he would ever "leave" the company he created that basically owns the entire computing industry....

As full manager... that doesn't mean he left the company...

I like that man.He is very good human being. He donates lots of money to charity.Billions and billions of money,i must say that. 🙂

yeah, you are right. The whole company based on him.He created the whole I.T. industry and now he is leaving. That's not fair.

yup..hez leavin company as full manager...thts wt dey say...

yes...this was announced in June of 2006. He will still be the Chairman of the Board. He was once Chairman, CEO, and Chief Architecht, with the latter two being day-to-day management, and he has gradually been transitioning out of these roles so he can spend more time working with his charity, the Gates Foundation.

None of this is new, and it is not the beginning of the end of Microsoft.

Microsoft without Bill will the same crappy OS's but without Bill to directly blame. The OS's will still be decent, and stay a grade below what they should be. The company will still mostly blow, just with a new manager.

It's a damn shame nobody supported OS/2 *siiigh*

anyways, company not runs with one individual. Its the whole team. And Bill was surrounded with some great people and they will keep the company going. No doubt about it.

There's no way you aren't just trolling, your quality of English seems to be decreasing the more people point it out to you.
