Don't you think he's doing the right thing here, especially since it goes against the policies of Bush?
Of course, he's doing the right thing in this case. Since he's a real MD, that only further rases the question of why he did the
wrong] thing by whoring out his principles and caving into Bush's brainless pandering to the pinhead wannbe Christian Taliban in the first place.
Frist is fairly well known for his charitable medical work in other countries, including war-torn Sudan. He's risked his life to save the lives of others. Aside from the Schiavo case (which I didn't even care to follow), you still consider him a "quack" of a doctor?
There is no "
aside from the Schiavo case." Frist stood before the United States Senate and the American people and cited his his own medical credentials when he pronounced his "professional diagnosis" of her condition based on nothing more than a few seconds of video tape. He, when he got lambasted by the public, including harsh cricism by other MD's, he tried to back away from his own words and claim it wasn't a "diagnosis."
The guy's a political whore with a medical education. If he's a good doctor, he should go back to doing that instead of selling out the best interests of the country, and (if he is to be believed, now) his own conscience, to promote a lame political agenda. :|

Obviously, he's a Republican.
So, do you want us to believe that all Republicans are sellout political whores or just the ones currently in office?
As cynical as I am about politics and politicians, I don't want to believe that there are NO Republicans (or Democrats) left without a conscience.
