If Bill was really was trying to influence the AG, why the hell would he do it so publicly? He's a better politician than that.

And you would have thought the same about the Monica Lewenski scandal, but he was stupid then as well.

What did the FBI release about the email probe, specifically?

My bad, I was referring to State's report on the issue from last May (?), not the FBI.

I feel it doesn't look good for Hillary when it's clear she has been, and still is, lying about seeking permission to have her own server. She's also been lying about the server and her setup being vetted and approved by State after the fact.

Not good for someone who has become a poster child for compromised values, fair weather convictions and issues with the truth.

I agree with all that, I just think we're long past the point where anyone really cares that a politician is fundamentally dishonest and untrustworthy. And even if I'm wrong - Trump? How can I really believe that he hates the people I hate? How can I really be sure he'll thwart their evil plans? How can I really be sure . . . that he's on my team. And how can I hold my nose that long?

Well at least you admit you are stupid. Bill won't.

And no I have never done anything stupid for some poon...
I too - I mean, I never . . . um . . . I wouldn't-

No comment. But at least I've never committed adultery. Or perjury.

Also, is it just me, or is Bill Clinton looking pretty rough these days?

I know he had heart surgery awhile back, and that weight used to be an issue, but I saw him on TV yesterday and I think my exact words to the wife were "Damn, he needs to downshift a gear or two." Just looks so pale and shaky. Christie or Huckabee could probably beat him up some stairs no problem at this point.

He still has a lot going on himself with various foundations and charity work, I understand that, but part of me wonders maybe there's something to that whole 'spouses affecting each other's behavior and sensitivities' concept. He almost looks like he's the one running for office while under FBI investigation.

Of course Christie or Huckabee could beat him up some stairs. There might be donuts up there.

He massively changed his diet. Personally I think he had a cancer scare, or actually still has it, although that's never been reported.

I think Bill is similar to Al Sharpton (politics aside) we're use to seeing real big guys. Both had health scares and now both are a bit under weight and look smaller because they are smaller.

NBC News did run a story about this earlier tonight and even some Democrats were not happy about the meeting. Something about perception even if both of them were not talking about the email probe.

And even if she didn't immediately make a move for the Clintons the very next day...

Good grief. That reminds me of the time the lady I was having sex with showed me a picture of her 300 lb Polynesia weight lifter husband pressing what appeared to be several thousand pounds of iron, but what could I do. She was fantastically gorgeous and looked like Rachael Welch. I was able however, thereafter, to answer a question my father always used to ask me, if I thought adults have as much fun in adultry as children in childhood do. The answer for me was a ringing yes.

Shh.

Listen.

Bill Clinton is totally unaware that anyone, ever, is watching his whereabouts. It's not like he has a permanent SS detail, and no one has ever written tell-all books about him, to, you know, cash in during election seasons.

Rather than using a telephone where no one would know that he even had contact with Lynch, he instead brazenly sought her out in public, because again, he doesn't have a permanent SS detail, no one ever talks about where he is or who he is meeting with, and he isn't really that famous. Almost no Americans know who he is, or what he looks like. And you know that Clinton isn't very outgoing, so he can essentially stealth into and out of any situation, because he's just so quiet and private.

And he did this, all so he could do something that cannot be done by using a telephone: say words to another human being. As of yet, scientists are unable to develop devices that allow one person to say words to another person from distance.

Or something.

Also: Benghazi. And, Vincent Foster.

Forever.

Well that's a lot of wasted breath over something the FBI won't recommend an indictment over.

Honestly, it's surprising more IT guys in this forum, even the partisan right wingers, don't see this for the giant nothing burger that it is.

:D +1

I did once have sex with a married woman, but I don't count that because she wasn't wearing a ring and was passing off a friend's apartment as her own. I only became suspicious when she couldn't tell me who were the people in her pictures. After that, I became wise to that little trick and the next time I fell for it, I did not fall for it.

She did NOT look like Rachael Welch.

Bill wanted to personally deliver the check.

Dumb thing to do. You don't socialize with people connected to an active investigation. It gives the appearance that the AG has a personal connection to Hillary. That's strong cause for recusal.

Mine wasn't with her husband any more.

Of course. Just like all scandals involving people with magic 'D's after their names. Why, the FBI commonly spends a year investigating "giant nothing burgers" and virtually all of us locate our corporate server in our basement. Strictly for convenience, of course.

Not if the purpose of the investigation is to "prove" that there is no reason for an investigation.

I know, right?!?

Just ask Colin Powell and Condoleza Rice, who are still be investigated and reported on daily, because they too have magical D's after their name!

So lets get this straight.
Bill Clinton orchestrated a private meeting with the US attorney general supposedly to find out what poop they have on his wife?
And I have this bridge for sale in London. Just asking five thousand cash, and its yours.
Call me.

I think you're all missing the boat. Lynch wanted to meet with Bill because he is going to testify against his wife. He wants out of the Clinton family and has been wearing a wire for 2 years now.
