bill Clinton: Islam politics the world's greatest double standard

Maybe now that Clinton has made a statement, some of the Islam apologists in this forum and elsewhere will change their tune? Or will they attack him for daring to step outside the bleeding heart echo chamber?

Glad to hear him say it. Too many politicians are tip toeing around this. America, supposedly the bastion of free speech and expression, has had a more timid response than most of the European countries.

Bill's right, as far as it goes. What he doesn't do is lay the blame where it belongs, at the feet of the Saudi monarchy & Israeli expansionism.

The Saudis exploit radical Islam at home to hold power even as they export Jihad as a safety valve. The Wahhabis have been their allies & enforcers since Saud consolidated control back in the 1920's. Acquisition of enormous wealth allows for much more expansive efforts than ever before. The most radical elements are encouraged to spread their version of Islam- somewhere outside the Kingdom, of course. Their efforts are well financed, as well.

All the stuff Bill said about us, about the tolerant & egalitarian nature of Western Society doesn't really apply to our Israeli friends at all no matter what we'd like to believe. Yet they are the face we put forward to the Islamic world around them.

Misleading subject, he is clearly talking from the viewpoint of those terrorists.

I completely agree with him that the Islamic countries and especially the Arabs, and after all the circumstances, they haven't learned the lesson yet, and personally I don't see any serious plan to root out that evil doctrine.
As an outsider, honestly I always respected Clinton and will continue to do.

I agree with you on the settlements issue, but your statement about bulldozing houses in response to rock throwing is grossly dishonest. Israel bulldozes houses of those definitively shown to be engaging in terrorist attacks against Israel, which includes houses that host missiles fired into Israel or underground tunnels used to send fighters into Israel.
