I could technically bike to work every day but if I was required at another office (as frequently happens) my company wouldn't be too happy I don't have a car. I'll drive, thank you.

I will be riding to work most of the Summer, I hope. I got a new bike last year and didn't get to ride it as much as I wanted to before Winter came along.

Unfortunately I work at home, so I can't bike to work. :( I guess I'll just have to go for a bike ride in the morning and evening to simulate a bike to work day. :)

I liked bike to work day when I used to commute via bicycle. I'd get cheers and treats just for doing my normal routine. Brightened things up. :)

Why do you have so many? I can see three/four (road, mtn, hybrid, recumbant?) unless your like Lance Armstrong or something ;)

I should definitely have a bike by then, and it will be a Friday so I can wear casual clothes all day and not worry about changing.

Unless it's raining, yes i will be biking to work.

Bump for a good cause!

I'm riding to work a few days next week...as I do every week.

With gas prices as high as they are why not ride a bike?

I walk to work every day, but I suppose I could jump on the bike to show some support!

Don't blame ya, but then Lotus Extige's don't get good MPG ;)....I heard gas in CA was like $4.50 a gallon, while people are complaining at $3/gallon prices out here!

Of course, as soon as it got nice, the gym at my work decided to remodel the men's bathroom....

Yes, I'm quoting myself.

I now have my bike, but i'm going to be on a business trip on that day in Boston. So i'll have to just bike another day and pretend like I was a part of it.

No kidding...I probably won't make it far either in Dallas before I'd get nailed flat by an SUV or pickup truck.

Actually, the Lotus Elise I rented averaged about 27mpg in mostly city driving. You can get well into the 30mpg on the freeway with them. Trouble is it only holds about 10 gallons of gas so you're still putting gas in it with about the same frequency as any other vehicle.

I paid $3.79/gallon for premium when I filled up the Maxima after work on Monday (I live in San Diego). I biked in yesterday and today. That tank of gas will last me about 2 weeks.

Socal my drive to work is about 7 miles since home and work are literally right off the highway thanks to major interchange!
Otherwise i'm looking at ten miles, which in and of itself I guess would be doable (though I'm not sure I could do so and be reasonably capable at work :p ) but I'm scared of getting killed.

Well, it sucks that I have to work late that day.... well past dark. Maybe I'll bike to work and then make my wife come pick me up. Sucker

Oh, and I have to go to Bogota for business that weekend, it's gonna be a long bike trek.

Depending on where you live, that could take less time on a bike. :p

I've been biking to work the last 3 or 4 years spring-summer-fall (winter no way heh). I only have a 10mile round trip so I have to add miles in by going out of my way to get a good work out. I actually stick to park pathways and MUPs to get to work as cars around here are pretty bike unfriendly. Great way to get some exercise. :)
