It's "flash Friday" every weekend here, who will participate? 😉

Oh, and I have to go to Bogota for business that weekend, it's gonna be a long bike trek.

i'm not trying to make it 'fatality friday' so no i'll be driving

It's gonna rain Friday here, I don't have a usable bike and I work 15 miles away.

So...

No.

I rode my motorcycle to work today though, does that count?

I'll either walk or bike... It's about a 20-25 minute walk... a little over 5 minute bike ride.

Sometimes I prefer to walk.

I ride my bike everyday. I started doing this about a month ago, hard to believe how much I have saved by not paying for gas.

Considering it takes me 25 minutes driving 65 on the freeway.... no way I can bike to work. I'll go for a bikeride after work if it's nice though. Nice trail by my house.

I would, it's about a 40 minute ride across the city and I've been doing it for the last week and a half while the weather was nice and my car was dead. But I have the day off and will actually be on an airplane instead.

Well, clearly it's not something everyone can do but for those of us who can it's great. I get a quick workout in twice a day, I don't have to deal with congested roads since I can ride past all the cars sitting in traffic, and I'm not using any gasoline on those days I cycle to work. I still have 1/2 a tank of gas in my car this morning after filling up on Monday 5/7.

I would, but I cant for two reasons:

1) 50 mile commute would take a long time on a bike
2) I dont have a bike

Same 2 reasons here here, only its a 30 mile commute

Bump.

Oh, and for those saying it's too dangerous, I've been commuting by bike a couple days a week for almost 2 years now.

I want to, but the 3 miles I'd have to travel on a 2 lane highway with 65MPH traffic and no shoulder doesn't sound that appealing. 🙁

I have an alternate route, but it would turn a 6 mile run(each way) into a 12 mile one.

My bike is located about 1800 miles from where I live, I suppose I could drive there and back to get it, but that would defeat the purpose of the event.

After witnessing a few car-bicyclist accidents in person here I think I'll stick with the L instead. Walking is dangerous enough here with all the cab drivers and women driving H2s while on their cells to take the risk.
