Heh, I'm no saint. And I think it would be best an argument of morality as you mentioned vs religion. Nobody has exactly the same stance on morality. And my point was that if everybody showed intolerance for other peoples views of morality (which the pro-homosexual movement is the worst about) then EVERYONE would be a bigot.

I think people who pull the Bigot card are just as bad as those that pull the race card.

Yet you keep pulling it?

Btw, there is no pro-homosexual movement. There is a huge anti movement though.

No homosexual movement... hahahahah thats funny. You're pretty blind if you don't see the ultra lib, pro homo agenda.

I have never in my life had anyone tell me that I'm a bad person for not having sex with other dudes.

Omg, people call me names at school all the time when they see me talking to women. "You fucking HETERO" Then the chest bump and high five each other and snicker at me. It's terrible. When I told my mom I was going to marry a woman, she said that she'd disown me. Over time, she's become ok with it, but we're still not the same.

Pffftt... Like they'd let such a marriage be legal. :rolleyes;

It's just UNNATURAL

Trying sexual activities with someone of the same sex does not make you gay, just for the record.

But yes, it does make you a bigot, as it proves your willful ignorance of years of published scientific evidence which shows that sexual orientation is ingrained from birth.

I disagree with you on principle in this thread.... ;)

That's the thing, it seems that people who can't defend themselves logically just reflect upon themselves by just saying "you aren't thinking logically or you are a Bigot" because they don't agree with you. It's like, they are just as guilty by acting that way, because they are essentially acting intolerant of the opinoins of those they dont agree with. So they are equally bigoted.

Accuse others of what you do, much?

People do it to gain the moral high ground. Be the first to appear sensitive or empathetic to the plight of the woebegone down-trodden and you are unassailable.

Are you high? Haven't you ever read Jefferson's diaries? Heard of the Jefferson Bible? You've had some woefully ignorant smoke blown up your ass if you think this country was founded on "strong christian fundamentals." If the Christian ilk want a theocracy, let them leave. I happen to love my country for the freedom it allows me FROM people like you.

I don't think gay people will burn in hell at all. While I do think homosex is sinful and deviant, I don't even begin to hold it in the same regard as rape, murder, theft, etc. I just think it's deviant.

You have a really negative twist on that anyway. My group says that this life is to learn about life, develop your soul and conciousness, and be ready to move on to something greater, where as your group says nothing really matters anyway because people = shit

No, YOU say that people = shit. I believe in the motive power and beauty of man rather than demeaning him and calling him shit because he is not the "Almighty".

then perhaps someday there will be a cure for all genetic diseases...including being gay

im curious then, how would you classify a bi sexual? Are they gay and willfully ignorant of years of published scientific evidence?? Or Are they straight and willfully ignorant of years of published scientific evidence?? Sounds like a choice to me... am I gay or straaght tonight? what about tomorrow?

Oh, right, more ignorance from you too. I remember you as the anti-pot crusader.

Homosexuality is not a disease. It has been removed from the DSM for decades now.

Bisexuality is just that - those people are attracted to two genders (commonly male and female, but also transgendered). There are more than just two sexual orientations. People can be heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, or polysexual, to name just a few. There are more than two genders as well, but I'm sure that hasn't entered your narrow-minded world view.

Some people like blonds, some like brunettes, some people like both. If you like both, having sex with a blond doesn't make you no longer like brunettes. Closeted gays have hetero sex all the time. It doesn't make them straight. And straight people having gay sex (in, say, prison) don't catch teh gay. Sexual orientation and sexual behavior aren't the same. Bi people like men and women. Having sex with men doesn't eliminate attraction for women, and vise versa. That this is complex concept to you is telling.

Also, gay is not a disease. Ignorance and hate are though. :disgust:

Oh aren't you just a peach? As for the second paragraph, it's not hard to comprehend succumbing to instinctual urges. Not everyone's urges are the same. Many of our urges lead us to the opposite sex, others, not the case. It happens in nature and it happens in humans.

Not good enough for you? I'll dream up an explanation which might make sense to a bible-thumper, "Got a problem with it? Your god designed it this way, go bitch to him/her/it" When something goes right in your eyes, it's all god's doing, but when it's something bad, it's obviously something/someone which has fallen from god's graces, right? Right

And OP : Hiding behind your religion to say what you say is such shit and I lose more patience for it every day. If religion makes you a better person, then by all means, pray away and I'll say nothing. You're probably making the world a better place so long as you live and let live. Think someone else is going to "Hell"? Good for you, but shut up about it, please. People like you open your mouth and spew absolute sewerage. It's useless to everyone but yourself. It's all self-serving dreck. If you're going to use your religion and faith to hate and pack together against those you disagree with then fuck you. It's a sad little game of follow the leader and your mentality is all the weaker for it. Grow a brain of your own, form your own opinion and stop claiming your god backs you up on it.

Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were borderline atheist.

Try again?

Aren't those that do that also Bigots because they can't seem to tolerate my group of people who disagree with them?

IMHO there's a difference between having a difference of opinion and being intolerant. Having different feelings about something and being intolerant of someone else's freedom to choose are two completely different things.

Probably, but I'm pretty sure you'd also be a liar :p

I'll make a tshirt that says "Im a lying bigot"

No need, people can probably figure that out within the first minute of conversation with you.

You're a jerk.

Your point?
