McMaster is arguably the only one who you could possibly have faith in. He managed to excise the Bannonites from the national security council, which is not something Trump wanted and Trump hates him now. I hope McMaster has some kind of say in whether we go to war, but my guess its the other 2 generals can overrule him (I believe Mattis outranks him).

Just like with the lead up to Iraq, this is just sabre rattling.... Nothing will come of it.

Iran is the target nation, anyone outside the idiocy of the "we'll never attack them" bullshit saw that as soon as they were declared part of Trumps axis of evil. NK isn't really important to him, it's just a way to get to Iran.

The GW admin thanked every god they possibly could after 9/11 because it meant that they could achieve their goal, attack Iraq.

Donald is trying his utmost best to ensure an attack from NK but he's too fucking stupid on this one to get that NK can hit Guam and stop the US invasion with the threat of hitting US mainland with a hydrogen bomb.

The question is, do you think Donald would really give a shit if NK hit the US with a nuke? I don't think he would care in the least, in fact, I think he would welcome it.

Not even the Bushistas were stupid enough to attack Iran. Our European allies won't back such a move at all. Iran is actually in a much stronger position today but do go on with the fantasy scenarios. They're on very good terms with their Shia cousins in Iraq, with the Kurds, Assad, Hezbollah & the Houthi in Yemen. The only realistic way to counter them militarily is through proxies outside Iran.

They & N Korea were held up as boogiemen by the Bushistas & now by the ruff tuff Trump admin. It's all noise.

They didn't want to and your "European allies" didn't want to go into Iraq either, we got some nice trade deals and Poland made a couple of billions on the deal without providing troops. You had no other allies who agreed with that action.

Still what happens when Kim does have a nuclear arsenal of substance? He keeps asking for money so when he demands a few hundred billion then what? He's not dangerous? Well he keeps killing family because he can and executes musicians with AA fire.

It's like the line from Rush- if you choose not to decide you'll still have made a choice.

Neutron bombs aren't a part of our arsenal. As awful as conventional nukes are those are worse because at least one might die instantly. Death by radiation is far worse.

I wouldn't want to be calling the shots on this one.

Actually, neutrino releasing bombs are which is what neutron bombs are, we are all aware of this since there is a way to measure neutrino radiation that cannot be contained (if you know anything about physics you'll know why) by any means.

Also, it seems that you don't understand the function of neutron bombs.

Here is the deal, NK WILL bomb Guam.

This is inevitable after the exchange and Trump won't get on his hands and knees to stop it.

That changes absolutely nothing what so ever, NK has the ability to strike mainland USA now and they can do it with a hydrogen bomb.

This is asymmetric warfare as it was written a long arse time ago. The US could level NK ten times over but any incursion into NK might just get NYC nuked and even then, a further pursuit might get DC nuked.

You see, Trump handed Kim all the cards and all you can do if he now nukes Guam is to sit on your thumb and shut the fuck up.

Because a coalition of nations that ARE PAID but provide nothing what so ever including no troops what so ever is NOT a fucking coalition.

It's the coalition of the billing, they got their payoffs and every last one of their leaders left soon after, two of them to be consecutive leaders of NATO which were promised positions.

An actual coalition would be something like "we will provide all means possible to ensure a swift victory" but you don't get that and you don't get where that idea comes from either.

Now there is a source of neutrinos close by astronomically speaking and that is the Sun. We are transparent to them and they fly through without interacting. They in fact can pass right through our planet as if it wasn't there.
