Step back and open your mind a little bit.
In the 60's and 70's in Florida, cocaine might as well have been legal. The cops and judges were all bought and paid for... Just another cost of doing business for the cartels. They operated without fear of prosecution. This is the closest analog we have to openly legalizing drugs. Sure, coke wasn't technically legal so it's not a perfect comparison... But what's the difference between legal and being able to do whatever you want without fear of legal consequence?
^^ they are seriously bad because of the money to be made off of that illegal substance
WoD has stolen BILLIONS from US taxpayers etc who need it for their schools and welfare systems etc
FBI only tallies our country.. you wouldn't believe the amount of violence and murder in other countries just to keep americans high
Quoted for truth and wisdom.Legalizing drugs and the war on drugs itself are two very very different things. Legalizing drugs would probably change the price structure significantly and reduce the amount of crime associated with its distribution.... However, I'm not sure I'm thrilled with the idea of things like heroin, cocaine, crack etc all being legally sold over the counter just like a aspirin. That's a whole other conversation though.
The war on drugs effort itself is of course doomed to fail because people will always find a way to do those things regardless of their legal status, but the criminal violence associated with drugs has been cut down significantly over the last 2 1/2 decades, as per FBI stats.
Regardless of the reason for their existence and legalization of drugs etc, these are some seriously seriously bad guys. They don't think twice about slaughtering innocent people to send a message to someone. It's a good thing to see them taken out.
Fool. That is the second step of the plan. What do you think cartels are going to do once drugs are legalized? Go legit? You are a fool if you think so. They are criminals and will continue to operate criminal enterprises. They must be slaughtered without mercy. Everyone knows this.
drug users are responsible for illegal drug traffic and the death of innocents, not the war on drugs.
legalizing narcotics has been tried many times, China, Amesterdam..it doesn't work because drug users are narcissistic POS who don't give a shit about anything but themselves. That isn't a model that leads to a productive society.
