Big Mac vs. Whopper

Funny thing is I like both.

But whopper tastes like a burger. McD doesn't feel like it. It feels like I'm eating McD.

The problem with BK is the shitty fries. So 9 times out of 10 I will take a QP with Cheese (decent but not whopper good) just to have the fries.

Net value (10+3) / 2 = 6.5

QP with Cheese @ 6
Mc D Fries 10
Net value (10+6) / 2 = 8
(+1 for a fresh 6 piece also)

Overall Mc D's is a better tasting meal to me. But Still the Big Mac is among my top 3 worst tasting burgers of all time. Right behind the house burger made in a frying pan and served on bread, and a frost bitten veggie patty from the microwave...

A few years ago I would have agreed completely but I actually like BK fries now they're much-improved while McD's have gone the other way. I'd call it a wash.

Now if you want to talk chicken nuggets/sammich's its not even a contest McD's is much better IMO.

Whataburger. I don't want to live anywhere that I cannot get a Whataburger. The Whopper used to be good, but that was at least 20 years ago.

This is not bad.

Carl's Jr/Hardee's has the best national fast food burger. The Thickburgers are so good. They aren't cheap though for a national chain burger but much better than every other place.

I might have one Whopper every 5 years. I actually like them but they sure make me feel guilty as heck when I eat them. There is nothing like making it to the middle of the sandwich and biting into that soggy mayonnaise mess.
