Considering that USED full copies of Steel Battalion have been going for ~$300 on eBay due to low supply/high demand...the ability to get a new copy for retail price is actually awesome news.

BTW: I was waffling on whether to purchase SB or not...until I saw a demo video on Gamespot. HOLY MACKEREL!

I found that posted on the top of the second page of this post.

Any idea what that 3 games and console and controller dealio is gonnna be? If they'd let us pick the game I'd buy it from the store...but as for now...going the used route...

I haven't heard about any such offering becoming standard from any of my sources.
Several stores have already run promos that include a 3rd game--normally something like NFL Fever or Amped--in addition to the dual JSRF/Sega GT 2002 disc.

But all these have been store-specific, limited time offers.
And the 3rd game has not been a choosable option IIRC for any of those deals.

I'm looking at the order submit screen right now....and the total is $207.99 (includes $8 in tax)!!!

MAN...if I could only used Preferred coupons on this bad boy....I'd be ALL OVER IT!!!

CompUSA.com has 10% off XBox games. The coupon code is on their site. Would be nice if you could use this for Steel Batallion, but it says "sold out" on their site and "coming soon" for stores. You can always try calling and trying to get it.

The game was supposed to be really really bad. I wonder if this means it'll become popular due to rarity. Air Force Delta Storm wasn't that great, albeit better tha Kajuto, and now it's worth a ton.
